I've read about Jennelle Eliana, she grew rapidly by picking and making interesting content around what's trending these days. Van life. If you're interested in the niche, she's not the only one, there are a bunch of channels that took off specially when it comes to van life, tiny house living, off grid living, camping and bushcraft videos. Her growth was all organic, she just got blessed by YT algorithm and high engagement helped build on her initial traction.

You may get a lot of viewers and subs initially but that may or may not translate to long term success. I'm talking about 5-10 years of consistent views.

I didn't know about other channels, just looked at 2 of them, Mega Manny : Not a successful channel at all when you look at his views. Didn't even post in 3 months. Beluga : His older videos got 2-2.5 m views but now stuck at 500k.
I am on a blackhat forum, I'm not trying to play down blackhat methods, but in 99% of the cases a blackhat method is like a slingshot, you'll reach some height, but you won't necessarily stay there.

I'm not on youtube, but there is a certain motto I go with since I started IM: If you can't benefit from organic traffic, there is no point in giving out control to those platforms anyways, be it youtube or amazon, etsy ... etc. There is no point to mortgage your business to them.

There are many people doing this also successful, but it needs a lot of hard work also, you can monetize without promotion.
