Protection before bringing in a VA from overseas for Reddit

Hi all, I'm currently working with 1 OF model to grow her Reddit organically and re-direct traffic to her OF. So far it's nothing to write about, but I have a good grasp on Reddit and know it is a long game.

I've decided to bring along a VA to essentially automate everything on my end when it comes to posting every day. Found someone from the Philippines who seem competent. I'd place the content for the VA to grab from a shared google drive, and he'd report to me every few days how the account is doing in terms of Karma/Followers/Growth.

My question is this: Which steps should I take to ensure that I am protected from being shadow banned/banned permanently on Reddit? The account has been aged organically and it would suck to get it banned. Yes, I could purchase an aged account if need be, but I would like to avoid that and lay low using this one.

I'm based in the US, so I would imagine Reddit's system would raise an eyebrow if there's a constant login from the Philippines on the account. I know that I have to get a remote entry browser such as dolphin and set up a proxy. I've heard different takes on the browser plus proxies (residential, 4g, rotating IP addresses) and quite frankly I am not experienced enough to know which would suffice. Don't want it to be overkill, but don't mind shedding some extra coin if need be. Lastly, which steps can I take within the remote entry browser to protect myself against the VA? In a scenario where I'm not satisfied with his performance and I let him go, I wouldn't want it structured in a way where he could essentially login and nuke the reddit account out of spite.

Thanks in advance. My DM's are open if need be.

You need to set the same proxy for you and him. I would suggest you mobile proxy. you can login to his computer throught anydesk and reddit account on dolphin. Once you done with him just logout all user or change the password

Hi, thank you for the comment.

My apologies for the dumb question but what exactly IS a "mobile" proxy? Does that mean it can be used on a cellphone, allowing access to reddit via the app? Or that the proxy moves/changes IP? I tried looking this up wasnt able to find a concise answer.

Is the purpose of logging in through anydesk to show him how to operate what I want him to do? I'd want him to do this without me looking over his shoulder to just save me time everyday.

I do understand now that I can just change the dolphin login and he wouldn't be able to access it that way any longer. Would probably need to change the reddit account's password as well.

Mobile proxies are proxies from sim chips, they will use the same ip address as real mobile phones, 3g, 4g, 5g. This will basically make your ip indistinguishable from normal mobile users by reddit and other social media (they might detect you through other means though).

Thank you for the response. Just as a follow up, I have reddit currently on my phone through the app. It's easier to post on it than on my laptop. Once I set up a remote login + proxy access for the VA I should no longer login to the account through my phone, correct? Even if the VA isn't logged in via Dolphin.

Also, I'm interested in the Reddit upvote service. Is there a minimum amount needed to be bought? Will likely contact you about that very soon.

Hello, you can login on your phone, what you should keep in mind is that reddit will know all accounts that login in through the same phone. So if you use 3 different accounts on that phone, reddit will know they're all yours, even if you uninstall/reinstall the app.

About the upvotes, the minimum purchase is 50, you can spread the votes through multiple posts. I can give you a 30 upvotes free trial.

Would a mobile proxy mask this?

Logging in through cookies, using a Fingerprint-modifying browser like GoLogin is one way to appear sus. I haven't heard of them banning or shadow banning anyone using these tools yet, but it's unnatural and well, potentially overkill.

If you want something simpler, just set up a remote desktop in your home. Don't use a datacenter vps, just get a spare computer or smth and ask your VA to remote desktop into it. That's the least suspicious it can get.

If you are going to give your VA login credentials, the only way they don't do comes at the cost of small inconvenience for you. Just add 2FA on your account connected to your phone and everytime your VA tries to login, send them the 2FA code. You can log them out at the end of the day.
They just have to do this once everyday and then keep the tab open to stay logged in.

This way your VA can login anytime convenient for them and all they have to do is ask you for a 2FA code.

Thank you very much, very informative. I’ll look into a second laptop for this
