Don't ignore Bing guys

to be honest with you guys, Bing surprised me, started getting conversions and traffic from Bing. Process is painful, gradual and ultra slow but my gut feeling, it can be a good acquisition channel

This is what I got in the past 3 months. Obviously not a Bing's favourite but being in a very competitive niche makes it really hard to rank up in both medium and short term. Though bing ads used to make me really good profits off it back in good old days. The CPC's gone up circa 30-40% since then which forced me to pause all my campaigns.

Now I checked a three word keyphrase in spyfu it shows me 3.500 search volumes, then check it with the Bing keyword planner it shows me for the last 12 months 100k-200k search volume , I being baffled now.......
But how accurate is the Bing keyword planner? Does the search volume metrics of 100-200k is organic free traffic or traffic from Bing ads ?

The name might be Bing chat, but the barebone skeleton is that of a fine tuned GPT 4. So not sure if the answers will reveal anything but generic SEO tips that GPT 4 vomits out.

Yeah obviously Bing is not in the league with Google. But those early Bing clicks can be a good encouragement for webmasters with new sites.
Other than that, Bing has better conversion rate thanks to their non-techy boomer userbase. So paying attention to Bing's suggestions every now and then won't hurt

Bing is slow (painfully slow) to pick up your site in the beginning, unlike Google. But once it does you can just sit back and let it do the job.
Bing picked up my site only last month after indexing a single article(some of you might have seen me whining about Bing not crawling my site). Had given up on Bing and didn't bother checking the Bing webmaster console, until today, and Bam! All my articles are not only indexed, every last one of them is ranking in the top 3 for core keywords.

In fact, I got more clicks from Bing in the last 2 weeks (around 200 with about 22% CTR) than I got from Google in the last 2 months (although Google shows more impressions). I am starting to think the only Amazon sale I got from my site actually was from a Bing visitor.
Edit: Average position on Bing is 3.2 compared to 15.6 on Google
Now, maybe it's my niche that has appealed massively to Bing I don't know (my niche has a huge boomer userbase) but I am surprised at the pace with which Bing is picking up and ranking my site.

I was hugely undermining Bing like most bloggers do because that's how Bing is. Bing can get you frustrated because of how slow it is to pick up your site. But once it does, be assured your site will take off (at least mine is showing signs of such).

DON'T IGNORE BING especially if your niche has a lot of older people in the target audience base.

I had this problem and the disavow in Bing Webmaster function worked a treat.. took about 3 weeks to kick in. And it's quite a lot going through and disavowing toxic backlinks but it worked. I don't disavow on Google as it seems to work out for its self whats going on.

I checked some high competitive keywords (three word phrase) in google and Bing the last days, google shows me a search volume of 2.500
Bing 100k-200k the last 12 months I was baffled......but I think Bing ha sonly good and enough search volume for US country not outside, for outside US traffic google will be better.

I've been part of the "hate bing" train. And part of me still doesn't think it's worth the little amount of effort it takes to submit your site. But at the same time, I'm starting to feel the need to challenge the masses and see if I can figure out how to suck the traffic. Because the Google tussle is starting to give me a headache.

I find it impossible to get my sites indexed on Bing. Even though there's no Errors or anything like that in Webmasters Tool (Bing). On Google indexing takes couple of minutes or a few hours at most.

Bing has good search volumes for USA but not outside, but when this is your target market not ignore Bing!

My articles index in Bing and some are in the top 5 and some are not. I don't understand why. They are indexed in a few hours or even minutes. Any advice?
