so it has been almost 2 years since I found mass PAA https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/spam-doesnt-work-jk-1-6m.1357683/
now there are even more crazier things

I made a thread about this yesterday, it's basically what has been discussed on this forum before, the thread was called darker than black I think.
This caught my interest, since this one is a bit different. It uses GPT3 content and .space domains (probably they were on sale) and it's different guy/type of people.
I thought to myself, why do just redirects to offers, when you can build a huge PBN like network and use normal high paying ads.
Meanwhile I was checking another guy/group of people doing some insane things with mass creation of subdomains and today I have realised, through some footprints, that it's the same guy/group and they do exactly that, using this network to push "legit" sites up with normal paying ads.
I don't want to go in to details, but they use hundreds of thousands of domains to redirects subdomains and create backlinks. They also interlink everything. All the content on the redirects is from pure PAA, PAA + GPT3 and mass copying of articles. It's hundreds of thousands of domains and probably billions of words of content.
There are two ways they monetize:
1) They hack aged domains through WP vulnerability, create adsense for each website and add pure PAA and PAA + GPT3.
2) They use their own aged websites, add some normal looking content while having a PAA script on their website with only pure PAA. These sites use higher paying networks like monumetric.

Each of the hacked domains has around 100k monthly traffic.

The amount of money they invested and make and the amount of sites they own is insane.
They probably hacked every single site that had this one vulnerability. Imagine owning 10 000 sites, each having 100k traffic. That's $20 million / month just on the hacked domains, not including their own aged domains and the redirects.
