I am not installing python manually.

If you use the docker compose file provided, the necessary softwares will all be installed for you, in a virtualised environment (e.g. a docker container). Your machine's python will not interfere with that. Even if your machine does not have python, the docker compose file will still work just fine.

Monterey operating system version 12.6.6
The desktop version of docker is 4.19.0 (106363)
The version of compose is Compose: v2.17.3

Hmm looks about right except for the old mac.. Maybe try opening an issue in the original repo.

I agree with BlurryBit, you should try a different PC, I havent had not even 1 error since the day I installed it, and no errors while installing it either.

I will definitely do all the appropriate tests , so we will be in a position to help those who have some problems , even if my python knowledge is very limited .
I have a windows machine which is definitely more powerful but at the moment it is running complex and resource-intensive system processes .
Once finished , I will try the installation there too , to see if indeed the problem is the macbook which is too dated .

Well the simplest form of installation is using docker. Install docker on windows or Linux, and then clone the repo using git clone or just download the repository as zip and extract it and goto gpt4free folder and run the below commands.

git clone https://github.com/xtekky/gpt4free

cd gpt4free

1) docker build -t gpt4free:latest .

2) docker run -p 80:8501 gpt4free:latest

If you want it run on a different port than 80, change accordingly. It will display what url you need to use to access after step 2. By default, you.com A.I will be available. It won’t work if you are using a VPN or running it in a server that has datacenter IP. In that case you can try the gpt4free/aiassist one. Yet to try the forefront one.

But I'm also struggling trying to make this run on my computer as a none coder. I still haven't found a video on YouTube that explains step by step on how to import a code from github and run on my computer.
