How to extract the hash from rar archive?

Hey bhw community,

I have already tried it with Hashcat and JohnTheRipper. Unfortunately it did not work. The programs you can buy were more or less scam. Does anyone have another idea? I would pay if you crack the hash or password of the rar archive. I don't remember if I chose a password with 10 digits or with 30-40.

JTR is the only option that actually might work. It all depends on the type of the attack, how strong the actual pass is.

For direct approach yes, a few lifetimes xD.
Rainbow tables and other types of attacks not so much (it depends a lot on what he knows about the password)

Dictionary based attack is the only option he has lol. Bruteforcing? Forget it.

Also, it is not the tool that is bad. It is the password that is.
