Don't ignore Bing guys

when i create bing ads account they suspend my account and can't appeal
Trouble in creating a Bing Webmaster Tools account? I found it pretty easy following their site & getting the site verified, after creating a new account.

Its tough Job, your accounts can get re-instated if you know how to reach their senior support level

This is my experience. I created a website three weeks ago with a medium competitive keyword. I made the website indexable four days back after completing everything that was related to on page. This might be a coincidence but I started receiving traffic. I checked and it was from bing. I totally forgot about the bing webmaster. I will do that too. Thanks OP for reminding me.

can you share the keyword volume ? how many searches per month in google and how many in bing. i have heard that 10 k monthly search volume in google, but in bing you will hardly get 5-10 click even if the rank top in search. I mean you are getting traffic from bing , can tell you search volume number using bing web master tool.? so that i can decide whether i can jump in bing or not.

42 at the time of this post. 50 now. 45 are indexed.
can you please share "your main keyword search volume per month" in bing. i mean, you can use keyword planner in bing webmaster tool to find the volume for your keyword. i want to know the main keyword volume per month , especially in bing not google.

I'm on my phone right now and as per my webmaster stats the keyword I got the most impressions for shows 372 impressions in the last 7 days. So almost 1400 search volume per month.

My site has an average position of 2.4 for that keyword. Got 34 clicks in last 7 days.

Bing is slow (painfully slow) to pick up your site in the beginning, unlike Google. But once it does you can just sit back and let it do the job.
Bing picked up my site only last month after indexing a single article(some of you might have seen me whining about Bing not crawling my site). Had given up on Bing and didn't bother checking the Bing webmaster console, until today, and Bam! All my articles are not only indexed, every last one of them is ranking in the top 3 for core keywords.

In fact, I got more clicks from Bing in the last 2 weeks (around 200 with about 22% CTR) than I got from Google in the last 2 months (although Google shows more impressions). I am starting to think the only Amazon sale I got from my site actually was from a Bing visitor.
Edit: Average position on Bing is 3.2 compared to 15.6 on Google
Now, maybe it's my niche that has appealed massively to Bing I don't know (my niche has a huge boomer userbase) but I am surprised at the pace with which Bing is picking up and ranking my site.

I was hugely undermining Bing like most bloggers do because that's how Bing is. Bing can get you frustrated because of how slow it is to pick up your site. But once it does, be assured your site will take off (at least mine is showing signs of such).

DON'T IGNORE BING especially if your niche has a lot of older people in the target audience base.

Nice to hear!
Are there any special SEO tricks you're using for Bing as opposed to Google?

thanks for your quick reply. once you get in to PC. kindly check the main keyword volume for 30 , 90 , days in bing keyword research tool. and compare with google search. you may use keyword everywhere plugin or keyword surfer tool. i just want to know the keyword volume in google and in bing. lets say, you said 1400 per month in bing, so your keyword volume per month in google would be around 24,000. am i right?

If your targeted keyword gets more than 10K search traffic a month, you can spend time improving your Bing ranking; otherwise, it's not really worth the effort.

The problem with Bing is that there aren't enough information on how to optimize your sites for Bing
This is my problem too. For the most part, people say if you do well in google you will do well in bing. but this is not always the case.

I have 1 site that gets 30k daily impressions on google, in bing it's under 200. I have sites that are 1 tenth the size getting more impressions.

I have been trying to figure it out for months. I was even willing to pay a bing expert to look at it but there are none.

The results are such a deviation it almost looks like a penalty. but my site is squeaky clean. I know I am missing out but am at a loss.

Bing is one of the most 'difficult' simply because the rules are far from being clear.

Nobody knows exactly whag works, that's why there's little materials on the topic.

Google despite all the numerous updates, even those that don't make sense, people still pitch there tents there because we for the most part know what to do and what not to.

I've had a couple websites do very well with Bing, depends on the niche i believe.

What mistakes can cause a website to get removed from bing Or they do not do this ever?

Are you knowledgeable about how to gain their support?
My site pages seemed to get rapidly indexed after I sent their support an email (received a response almost a month later that too in promotions box of Gmail for some reason).
