How important is it to have your keywords in every subheading on your blog post? And how may keywords is it best to focus on per post?

Thanks in advance!

Focus on the human reading the content, of course, if you can include a longtail as a subheading, it's great, but the most important thing is that things are natural.

No more than in one subheading unless it reads better naturally that way.

More is seen as keyword stuffing which isn’t as powerful as it used to be and can even be argued that it’s detrimental to your website’s ranking.

Great advice, thanks.

I didn't know that. . . thanks for the heads-up!

Not a problem! Searchers intent is one of the top ranking factors nowadays. Meaning: does your content cover the keyword & answer any questions the searcher may have?

It’s fine to lace the content with the keyword & variations, but don’t overdo it.

The grammatical make-up is elegant.

No necessarily., but sometimes it happens to be like that. Try to don't do it forcefully, just fairly enough

Look for ways to use relevant long tails & questions in subheadings.

It's not a necessity so use only if relevant to the topic.

Noted. Thanks again.

You don't have to stuff your content with same keywords, however you can use Keywords variation . E.g Dating - Courting or Running - Jogging.

Doing this help the search engine to understand your page much easier & cheaper.

Bonus tips : Use Semantic related keywords such Dating - flirting & Entities relevant to your post like Tinder & Couple etch....

Got it — thank you!

It is best to use the keyword once in the subheadings. Use of long tail in keyword is much more useful, it's more and more important to ensure that your content is natural so that people read the content with interest and do not deviate from the target.

Well they must seem natural so google can rank your website. 1-2 uses of long tail keywords per arcticle should be optimal.
