Is blogging worth the effort?

Hi all! As the title suggests, like everything else in our lives some of the bhw members here say the competition is high in blogging, while others say it's still profitable. Is it a waste of time to start as a newbie these days when Al is making progress? Also, how long does it take to make good money?

It's definitely worth the effort. There will always be low competitive keywords around which you can post content and rank the blog. You can also share them on social media sites and get extra traffic.

It usually takes a couple of weeks to months depending upon your usage of fresh domain or dropped authority domains to start making good money.

it depends on a lot of factors, thats why some say it works and others claim it doesnt.
main factors include niche, promotion and on/off page seo etc. if all is done properly you can profit for sure.
its always best to create multiple blogs in different niches. thats also a reason why many fail. they create 1 blog put a lot of time in it (but since they just start, miss a lot of things) and if it doesnt work, they give up.
also AI is not a problem for blogging in fact it makes it easier than ever to put out content, so you can produce more in a much shorter amount of time.

The competition in blogging is indeed high, but it is still possible to make money blogging as a newbie. And instead of worrying about AI, use it to improve the quality of your content.

I think that sites created entirely with artificial intelligence will regress in google rankings. However, websites prepared with the help of AI will come to good points.
Start writing on a topic you are interested in, support it with social media accounts, even if things don't go the way you want, you will gain experience and learn new things.

It takes time and effort to build a successful blog and start earning good money, but its definitely still worth it!

You can always spread your own energy wave, so to speak. So as long as you're touching the cores of a specific audience, the success is there waiting for you.

Takes too much time to actually make some money
Spend this time making your own SaaS, make several of them
At one point you will get known by ppl that have the same vision as you
One of them will eventually work
Don't spend too much time just act

You can make money with it but there are much easier ways online.

Think who you are competing with. The entry barriers are so low now.

Thanks to ChatGPT if you can afford $20 you can make a decent looking website and fill it with decent content.

Think how many people can afford $20 and know how to use a computer...

It's different if you are blogging to sell an amazing product, or you have rare expertise or you can limit the competition somehow but when you are just doing a normal blog...it's not something I'd get into now.

Yes, it is profitable, but keep in mind that it is not overnight, you will need to invest a lot of work and learning... Like people say, if it's easy then everyone would do it.
What ever you do, start doing it, because it needs time to grow, like you plant a tree, it takes time to grow.
If you love what you're doing then its a BIG PLUS, time flies fast, start doing what you love.
It's not hard to learn about blogging, there are many free guides and easy to access.

Yes, it is still profitable. It can take some time at start but once the traffic comes in you can earn decently.

As someone who has been umming and uhhing wether to take the plunge and create a website this thread is very helpful. I feel like as a newbie with websites there’s so much information overload whereas with social media pages which is my ‘expertise’ it’s a lot easier.
