If you only had to choose one programming language...

Java and c# let's build some mobile games!

python for sure, it's just easier to code on it as there is ton of example.
but need C too to code on game project

Python without a doubt. Incredibly useful across many fields

Kotlin, type safe, null-safe, access to all Java libraries, best IDE support from IntelliJ, low amount of boilerplate compared to Java.

Another Python lover here, although C is the basis of a lot of key things.

C itself is old (and not my first choice) but syntactically it has inspired a lot of newer languages.

Which one would be your most favorite?

I know you can not choose only one because they are all for different things and sometimes you need a lot of languages for a project.

But if I had to choose my favorite: of course it would be C#.

The most elegant, easy to read and understand, and the most modern and developed Microsoft language to me also very compatible with the best IDE in the world which is Visual Studio. Also Microsoft is on the rise because of the new AI developments. So I am glad I chose C# as a language 12 years ago, that has been a really good investment. You can develop pretty everything these days with this language also: desktop, web, mobile, games, AI and ML apps, cloud and so on.
I was gonna say C# as well, but it's for more cheesy reasons.
I made a video game with unity as my last school project last summer with a friend, and it holds a lot of good memories and nostalgia.

It was my first C# project (also first unity project), it taught me so much and making games is really fun !

Years ago I loved using LUA, but I have been using C# for some years now and it's my new favourite language

I'd go with python. It can do nearly everything from web apps, phone apps, to microcontroller programs.

Strange that nobody commented Ruby yet. Definitely my favorite
