Expired domain inexing problem

Hey.

Hasn't happened to you that your "expired" domain pages got crawled but not indexed even though there were still old urls indexed on Google? My "expired" domain is getting crawled all the time but Google doesn't want to index even the main page. It's not the quality content issue for sure. The website has been online for 3 weeks now. There are 34 pages on it.

Expired domains are easier to catch a "site domain on Google only shows 1 2 3 4 5 7 9 11 etc" penalty, because people spammed expired domains so Google came up a method to catch it and along with the low quality content like AI generated, translated shits.

Note that not all expired domains will be get caught for sure, so its a lucky game.

Sure, maybe not 100% cases will be a penalty, maybe its just a dance for your domain. A new site needs a lot of time to settle, at least several months I guess.

• Most importantly, check in archive if it was repurposed or not already
• Make sure you have all the legal pages in place like privacy, terms, disclaimer
• Check redirection, and 404 errors, if there are old backlinks showing 404 then redirect them
• Sometimes it takes upto 3 months to start showing the results or 6 months in some rare cases. If it's take more than, find yourself a new domain.

Now, the command site: shows 11 results event though GSC shows 34 pages as indexed. The total is 37 pages.

I guess you can only give it enough time to see, nothing else can be done.

In Chinese culture, 4 equals "Dead", so from my experiences, those sites are dead lol. But don't take my words, you can keep watching them while working on other sites, no good methods. Someone said 301 to another domain, but also this trick can be catched too, and you then need to do another 301, which is a pain in ass, I never did that thing, too much hassle for me.

All my "1,2,3,4,5,7,11" sites died, never recovered.

How long did you wait the longest? Did you build any backlinks when under this penalty? If so, lots?

The longest if I remember right, at least 1 years or even to 2 year, still dead as a fxxk, so when those evil numbers appear, I know sth is not right. But I am cool on this, because I knew I was creating low quality sites lol.

There were people claimed a site can recover even those number appear, no idea, I never experienced though.

Only those four pages get impressions and clicks consistently although the number is really low. It looks like it's a kind of test. I'll keep watching it.

I had a 6 page domain that got "penalized" this way so it's no about content adding velocity nor backlink adding velocity (I didn't add any backlinks). It looks to me Google puts it on you if the topic of your website differs a bit too much from the original one posted on your expired domain in the past.

Well, in my humble opinion, this algo penalty is for low quality contents sites using translated, mass generated, also, for those want to leveraging expired domains power, one will have a higher chance to catch this, this thing first appeared in 2019 or even eariler, I forgot about it.

Yeah, I guess these are all evil numbers, good luck to you, you can do nothing, just wait to see. You can working on other sites now.
