I am not that much selective. I take on the job. If it's seems it's taking to much time and client is too much frustrating. Then I quit the job. Even I didn't even get paid.
As it better to focus on good clients rather them holding on to a bad client

that's going to hurt your job completion rating and feedback score which then will prevent you from getting other jobs.

I don't start the contract on Upwork. On initial stage I start the work without placing the contract.
I will do it after the month once I am sure client is good and we can work smoothly.

Another update.
Applied on 14 more jobs.
Got 1 conversion till now.

Communication is in process with couple of clients.

Hope fully I am able to secure one more job out of these.

Currently total I am getting
Job 1: 2500$ ( WordPress related agency client )
Job 2: 850$ ( backlinks campaign manager takes around 2 hrs/day )

I happy with the performance till now.
Plan actually seems working.

What's next?
Plan is to find jobs with high recurring income $2000 to $3000+

So that with less clients I can achieve my target.

Hey everyone.
I am silent user of bhw for quite long now.
After reading lots of successful case studies.
I have planned to start mine. In order to have something to keep me motivated and also there will be so much to learn down the journey for fellow members as well.

My background.

I am providing SEO, SEM and development services to my direct clients from 2012.

Also have couple of affiliate and AdSense blogs as well under my portfolio.

I and pretty confident and have good hold on my skills. So order fulfillment is not an issue.

Already managing team of 9 people all remote.

My goals:

==> Reach up to $10k per month - long terms Jobs which pay monthly recurring agency clients
==> Get top rated batch ASAP

Currently have an old account from 2015. Have done some small jobs. Around 800,$ earned.

You can consider it as a new account.

My strategy:
Go hardcore on using connects and bidding.

Go with 2 Upwork accounts

The plan is to invest $900 on connects
$450 worth of connects on each account.

It will be around 6000 connect per account.

So, the idea is to bid on long term development and SEO jobs.

Apply with 2 Upwork accounts on every potential long term Jobs. And get two spots in top 4 boosted section.

As competition is high in both categories I have plan to invest 120 connects with one account and 100 connects with second account.

Will change that according to the Job and competition.

I am really confident on this strategy. Planning to achieve that goal in ideally one or maximum 3 month.
