For those who have been successfully managing multiple Instagram accounts recently, what is your best advice?

Here are the things I've learned so far:
  • Use a static residential proxy or mobile proxy IP address to the account (1 IP address per account)
  • Avoid using multiple IP addresses to login and access accounts
  • Mobile proxies are best
  • Use an anti-detect browser like Dolphin Anty or multilogin, or others
  • Limit activity on the account to very few actions, build up activity over time
I'm sure there are more things that can prevent accounts from being shut down as well as being able to access them. I think this thread could be a good reference.

I have been unable to login using static residential proxies with Dolphin Anty thus far. It won't let me login - I either get a message saying there is a problem and to try again later, or it acts like it will take me into the account but returns me to the login screen. I've tested the residential proxies I've got and they have a fraud score of 0, so something else is wrong.

I've read in here that people are having issues with mobile proxies as well, so I don't think mobile proxies are the answer alone.

Has anyone had success with an Android emulator and using the Instagram app with a proxy IP to manage accounts?

I've never had any issues with true HQ mobile proxies. Moved away form residential and long time and all proxy related issues similar to the one your experiencing went away.

Any chance you can point me to where you've seen people talk about issues with mobile proxies? im interested :)

Here is an example of someone using a 4g proxy with Dolphin Anty, and the account was still banned:

I anticipate that it will only become more difficult to create and manage multiple accounts - not because of the IP addresses but because of AI. LinkedIn already uses AI to detect and shutdown accounts automatically, analyzing millions of accounts and learning from a huge data set. Instagram and Facebook are likely to use AI too if they aren't already.

I was hoping to find out anything else I can so I can get into the accounts.

If I can get away with using a residential proxy, it would be far cheaper for me and less risky, so I'm trying to see if I can use Bluestacks or NoxPlayer to try accessing the Instagram accounts via a static residential proxy and the android app. Not sure if it will work, but I'm going to try. I'm trying to figure out how to set it up and use it with a proxy.

Update: I've run a test using BlueStacks (the free Android emulator) and the initial test seems like it will work.

I couldn't figure out how to connect to the proxy address, so I instead installed the ExpressVPN app and connected to a random VPN location. Next I installed the Instagram apk on it and attempted to login. It let me in, but I had to verify the email address.

The emulator is glitchy, particularly the Instagram app. I didn't use the play store to get the app as the play store will require a google login. It complained the app was out of date and when I try to go to the profile, the app suddenly closes. It's glitchy and keeps showing the instagram logo and taking a long time to load, but based on this initial test, I think I'm on to something using Android emulators.

I had attempted to login via a web browser and ExpressVPN before and wasn't able to get in, but with an android emulator, it works.

There is a few good automation apps out there.

I have seen many people having IP leaks with Dolphin and similar browsers.

Where are you getting your accounts from? What email provider is it connected to? How long do you warm the accounts on the new IP?

In our experience, this plays a more significant part than what software you use. In the long run, 4G proxies are the best way. People typically only have an issue with them for 2 reasons. They tried to cheap out and got poor-quality proxies. Or they have new accounts and go too hard too fast, thinking they are safe because they have a proxy. Even aged accounts we warm up.
Slow and steady wins the race.

I think android emulator is the best. I haven’t try the method. But as i have think with my theory, instagram stays alive when you log on by phone, because instagram is phone friendly. If instagram detect you are login via website, they might think you’re some kind of robot or burn accounts.

I've been getting accounts from different sellers on ***. The sellers and quality vary, but I can usually get them fairly cheap. I've tried more expensive sellers only to have the same things happen. I've had a lot of bad experiences with sellers on there as well as PlayerUp.

I'll be checking out the sellers on BHW. From my experience the software and device seem to make a big different when I try to access accounts. I've tried even using VMs in Virtualbox with a proxy or VPN setup and was still unable to get in. So I think it makes a big difference. The app likely has fewer safeguards for the time being until they beef up security on it too.

What are you doing to warm up the accounts? I've known that I need to, but I'm not entirely sure how. I know to limit activity and avoid posting or changing things right away.

Any chance you can PM me the best seller of such accounts or point me in the right direction? Looking for a few top quality accounts made right; considering as many sellers as I can find. Thanks.

I'm actively looking through. I will be trying some out and hopefully will find some better sellers than the ones I've gotten accounts from previously. I can let you know what I figure out though.

Excellent, thanks. Also let me know if you find residential/cheap proxies that work with IG that don't have a high fraud/spam score even with the IP being clean. I have never found one. Thanks.

That's not really an option for most people. You can't be paying 10-50 bucks/month per ONE IP to run ONE IG account unless you're making a shitload of money or just operating 1 account.

Building up activity over time is very important.

You can use automation software to simulate daily human activity e.g: scroll the Instagram feed, like a few photos, post comments, follow some users and send some DM. All these must be random actions.

If you do the above actions on all your accounts, your accounts will be solid.
Age/warm-up your accounts first or you will burn them!

Cheers!

What bots/software for DESKTOP work without IG detecting it and banning you or shadow-banning you? And what's the assurance they won't ban you in the future once it's found out you're using it? Just for light use on personal accounts. Preferably free.

Hey,

I can't share what bot it is as I coded it myself, and it's not available for sale atm.

The probability of being banned for using this kind of bots is very low. We are just simulating a user browsing the instagram.com web version and scrolling down the feed while doing random actions. It's a very natural behaviour as long as you don't go crazy and increase the settings (num. of post likes, follows..etc) too much from day one.

I think there are software/bots at the BlackHatWorld Marketplace that can do this, but I can't recommend you any as I don't know how they handle browser fingerprints and is very easy to get it wrong. This is the origin of all issues you mentioned :D

Best,
Alfon.

Having a HQ 4/5g proxy doesn't automatically mean you wont get banned for loads of other reasons. I doubt that the proxy is the issue in that thread.

Be warned, some sellers are selling LQ resi proxies as "mobile". If its too cheap to be true, it most likely is. I see some sellers, selling unlimited data mobile proxies for less than the sim card would cost them. Big red flag.

Good luck with resi but the truth is its just outdated and not adequate. But if you can find that needle in a haystack then good luck. Just make sure its private and not shared otherwise it wont last long. They never do.

If you're just managing the accounts manually, you can get many Instagram accounts on 1 mobile proxy. I have my own farm for my own needs. 1 of my 5g dongles can get in the region of 200 uniqie IP's a day as it rotates. These IP's are being used by hundreds, thousands of other people. Meaning my traffic blends in and they can't IP block me unlike residential because of how many users are connected to the same communications tower.

You won't get anything for free.
For personal accounts and light use there isn't much point in worrying to much. You can run 3-4 accounts off 1 physical device. You only need a software when you are starting to push the number of actions you do and the number of accounts you're doing it on. If your just doing personal accounts, stick under 120 actions a day and you will be fine. This is more than manageable on a phone.

There are several things that you can do, but I recommend that you should use some social media management tools.

How much does that "1 5g dongle" cost you?
