I've been dedicating the past couple of months to link building and blog writing for my website.

Currently, here's how my website is performing.

The website was established in 2019.

Should I spend more time on link building or focus on publishing more original content on my website?

I want to know what can I do to increase traffic to my website, and what level is my business website at with over 600 backlinks?

I'm open to all suggestions and would love to hear your thoughts on this.

too few keywords and traffic, you need 100s of both, so I would say focus on publishing more content.

But that's without me knowing important info like...

- the niche of your site (if you're in a tough niche backlinks will be more important than publishing more content if you already have a decent amount of it)
- how many articles you have (if you already have 100s of articles but have those horrifying stats then the problem is somewhere else, but if you only have a handful of articles, like 10-20, you might need more, especially if those articles are around competitive keywords)
- how good your content and /or onpage SEO is
- how good your backlinks (and their RDs) are
- how good your site's technical SEO (speed, mobile friendliness, site structure and topical authority, etc) is

Compare the site stats with your competitors in the niche.

Build more links if the competitors have a better/stronger backlink profile. I never experienced so much influence from backlinks as tofay. (I am a young online marketeer)

otherwise the overall best way: is to improve content AND build backlinks in these content niches

You can add more long tail keywords. Create & publish high quality articles related the topics. Increase your social media presence to gain more traffic and build high quality backlinks from relevant sites.

These kinds of stats I face while I don't know the process of ranking

Check below steps you should keep in mind while running website/blog
  • Finding the correct niche
  • doing proper keyword research
  • onpage optimization
  • always finding free ways to get backlinks

You are spot-on everything but low on traffic , if that's what you see in GSC too.
Add a blog and rank low comp keywords.

I have noticed a consistent decrease in keywords recently. I am uncertain whether publishing more articles on my website or increasing link building would be more effective in addressing this issue.

You reminded me. Thank you.

The way to determine one's own status is to compare himself with competitors.

Almost all of my backlinks are purchased. Lol.

How can I achieve free backlinks? In my understanding, free backlinks are either of low quality or require a significant amount of time and effort to obtain.

it could be neither. When keywords drop off the SERPs it's usually because either the content needs improvement or the on-page is poor. Or (and here you might be right) you might need some internal links (no need to get external ones yet). But if you already have internal links pointing to the pages that lost keywords it's most likely a content issue. Or maybe a mean competitor removed your pages, that's also possible via DMCA attacks and / or using the "remove outdated content" tool as shown here:
