He sure likes to shake things up and see where they settle, doesn't he? The fact that some people want to impulsively do the most obvious thing about this release feels like a honeypot for botters. I could just be reading too deeply into this. Can't hurt to play devil's advocate every now and then. Lest we forget earlier this week. Twitter team's got their work cut out for them.

That is precisely what I was thinking. I know nothing about Twitter and even less about Elon, but, you have to ask yourself, what is the benefit for him for doing this? Is it that they just throw old furniture into the dumpster because new furniture is coming in? Or like he did, leave it out for us scavengers to do the job?
If it is so, then the algorithms will be of no use, at least on Twitter. But hey, I am myself getting a copy of that too. Maybe other players are using something similar. It doesn't hurt to learn something new
