I got an ecom store with good rankings for multiple low-volume keywords, so I don't want to lose those ranks since they help me get some revenue to the store. Since the revenue is not much I don't want to spend money to hire someone to do the SEO works for me, I only want to know how to keep the ranks on top with the minimum work that I can do myself.

You have no control over whether you maintain it or not, since there are other players in the game and you can't prevent them from passing you by. All you can do is keep driving traffic and good backlinks to your site.

Use ahref (even free version) to track your competitors backlink profile . you can easily create some good profile,forum and web2.0 links (do it manually and use natural anchors for them).

Although try to write at least 3 blog posts per week

There's really little you can do to maintain your ranking on Google, unless you have to improve your site assuming you're not ranking at the top. But this would not give you a 100% guarantee.

What I would recommend is, do some keywords research to find new keywords you could target, maybe write blog posts that solves problems or answers questions that relates to your products. While doing so, acquire sone quality backlinks so as to give your site more authority.

The reason you should create blog posts is so you can rank for more keywords bringing in more traffic which someone trickle down and convert into sales.
