Is Gmail the most secure email account option?

I've read that it's not recommended to use a [email protected] as your main email address because if someone hacks your website / host, they can then get access to the email.

So do you think Gmail (with 2FA) is the most secure option to use as a main email address that you use for all your personal purposes, or is there a better option?

It's not recommended to use your official domain for cold mailing to not hurt your domain reputation and avoid any risk that might get your domain restricted or suspended from mailing.

Instead use other extensions for your cold email campaigns.

I think gmail is the most secure website, you should look at outlook as well for my opinion they have a strong security phase as well

All emails are secure, put a great password, also double factor so that it asks you every time you try to enter and you already have it.

There are other secure and privacy respecting email services like ProtonMail, Skiff etc. But gmail being gmail will easily get past almost all email filters but same can’t be told about a custom domain, security aspects aside. If you send emails from domains like .xyz, most receiving mail servers will straightaway reject or send it to spam.

Then it should be fine. If you want additional security, you can opt for paid plans of ProtonMail/Skiff/Tutanota etc. Email infra will be hosted by them while you just point your domains at them leveraging their robust security features. Safer that way. Btw 2FA doesn’t mean 100 % secure though

Yeah, Gmail is secured but you got to have others like Yahoo and Hotmail on the same username. You will be glad you did in the long run.
