Site architecture For building Micro niche site?

I want to build a micro niche site and every post in it is evergreen, it has two pillar posts and some supporting articles for that. I am thinking to build a site structure using only WordPress pages, not by category post. What do you think guys, Is this a good idea or should I do something else? OR if this is a good idea then any important Duty that I need to remember when I'm using only pages to build site architecture?

It will be also good if someone suggests to me how to build a good site structure for SEO purposes but remember this is a micro niche site with EMD.

When comes to site architecture SILO is the best way forward.
Personally, I haven't experienced anything different using either pages OR posts.
But yes, if your content is huge quantity wise you will face trouble managing and organizing them.

In you case I think it is ok to use pages as you don't have that many articles.

Their at the top feature snippet is showing category and subcategories......how google decide to show category or subcategory in the rich feature snippet?
Categories who have the most views or the most internal links ?

Grain and Fame site is another good example of clear site structure.
