Anyone got early access to Bard yet?

No biz emails so cant get one. Lazy to create gmail lol
They only let Gmail's sign up, that's good to know!

just checked on
https://bard.google.com/
Bard isn’t currently supported in your country. Stay tuned!
Weird. They clearly state "We’re starting to open access to Bard, an early experiment that lets you collaborate with generative AI. We're beginning with the U.S. and the U.K., and will expand to more countries and languages over time."

Well, I guess it's still **cked up like their previous tests.

Same, here, I am in waiting list.

I don't use gmail, can just use any google account to sign up for waiting list.

and those not in UK and US, tweek your mind a bit, there is some thing call VPN.

Yes, I just tried it. Initial impression based on one very specific query that I've previously tried with ChatGPT, is that it seems less verbose and runs out of answers more quickly than ChatGPT. That could be because ChatGPT is prone to hallucinating - making stuff up. Early days. I'll run a side by side test and see what we get.

One important difference made evident if you ask Bard the time, it can tell you: it's online. ChatGPT is not, so it would seem that Bard will have more up to date information, gleaned from Google's humongous corpus. I don't see ChatGPT being able to compete even if it is able to go online and use Bing's index.
Bard is going to need time at the start to catch up with ChatGPTs learning, but as people use it, it will.

Can you check if it has online access and until when it's Database is updated please?

Anyone can easily get access to Bard.

1. Download any free VPN (Urban VPN is fine) and refresh Bard's page after using UK/USA IP
2. Sign up for the waiting list
3. Get access

I think it took me 5 days to get access. Also, it's pretty inaccurate. I find it worse than Chat GPT

PS: When using it, you'd have to turn on the VPN, otherwise it will kick you out.

Same, here, I am in waiting list. I don't use gmail, can just use any google account to sign up for waiting list.
