Are Google stealing contents from websites now?

I know google calling it, featured snippets and it may there is way to block it by the webmaster(I didn't search for it)
But what google is doing, answering user query directly in the search page.
without letting the original source (website) any chance to be accessible by visitors?

This is one example of millions of search queries google just steal these website traffic for their advantages

As webmasters we have right to block that feature, I still don't know if Google had option to disable it or not,
but obviously this utter steal their bot read that article and only view the answer on the search page,
this is not part of search engines jobs, showing grabbed contents on their own website pages.

The way I see they have good discussion with lawyers before introducing something fishy like this.

yeah, they've been doing it for a while now. That's why (well, not for this reason alone, but still) google needs to fall, but sadly, other scumbags will take their place, they'll grow big on our backs (just like google did) and then, once they get to the table of the rich, they'll start dumping on us and forgetting how they got there. Welcome to the "civilized" world that's been going on for millennia.

That's why I'm all for alien invasion, at least under aliens we all suffer, not just the little guys

Google have already given option to opt-out of a featured snippet so you can't sue for this.

In fact you have the option. Use Robots.txt file and in the webmaster tool of Google, to opt out of the Google index completely and you are done.

But no one would really want to do that, because even you hate Google, it gives you free traffic occasionally, sure, it robbers all the time and a lot of unfair things, we have no choice but only adapt to its policies.

Admit it, you can't persuade every webmaster in this world to strike out and leave Google, its not possible, its human nature.

No we are not doing that.
There is already source link there on the page from which google taken the answer.

The smart visitor not just stop with the results shown by the Google Snippet but he will visit the main source link to know what are the features of those 10, what's the different in them.
