There are python scripts out there that do this. The API script was updated yesterday and it has only this API...don't have time to use the Wayback machine to check how old the profile is. . Also, I saw some coding skills...that's why I'm suspicious.

Will be interesting to know if that API uses a pool of proxies to avoid any block.
Also how many requests per website?
And why only referrer? Why not also a custom user agent?

The method can be used in many profitable ways (Seo, website builders, etc).

I try my best, I made the html script with the fetch statement.
I tried making a bot using a puppeteer js template but it was taking too much ram, and only able to show up on plausible.io analytics.

Its surprising that so much traffic comes from webmasters checking the referrals report. I check the report time to time but rarely visit them. And its crazier that people are buying after going to the affiliate link.

I have a theory, because if you hit a website with 1 referrer spam, only small websites would be able to see it due to low amount of traffic. So any kind of service that solves their small website problem will be considered, which in this case is paid traffic.
I wanted to test that theory, and hit websites with 3 referrer spams instead of 1 (so the referrer goes up on the list of sources with bigger websites), and I actually got higher CTR. Which could totally be anecdotal, but that's just my observation.

Make sure that it shows up on analytics. What I did to test my script was setting up a default template wordpress site and used it for testing.

well yeah, just make sure it shows up on the analytics, because they do detect bots.

I wonder it is working in 2023. Lots of referrer bot spam will be easy to notice in Google Analytic based on bounce rate, duration, etc. If the owner saw that, I doubt them to click back to our domain.

Which is also a strategy in of itself, if they realize that it is referrer spam, you probably don't want this traffic.
Also Google analytics isn't the greatest for this method, because the sources menu is a bit hidden, and they rely more on cookies.

Oh wow, it does actually work on WordPress. But I think this might not work on all analytics.

i got some results, so i managed to get 84 clicks, and 2 sign ups in serpempire.

i think this is really good for 24 hours only

I think so, I looked around in their website and their terms.
There wasn't anything specifically prohibiting such act, and I am pretty sure you could mask it easily through a different site.

This is from a test that I have done a while ago with Wordpress websites. These are the demographics you get.

And it is about 60% desktop traffic.

This traffic stats is interesting. Hopefully, there are better networks than Adfly.

poster was trying to explain it in detail, i think i understand how it work.
but really u dont need to know much, the guy put a html script and a list in the gofile link, script need api and thats it,
1-get your key from the api (after account signup) and put it on the first text field in script
2-make ur website redirect to affiliate link
3-put your website in the referrer text field
4-click choose file and select the wordpress txt file u downloaded from the link
5-magic
wouldnt suggest using the list the poster uploaded, you can find many other lists, or maybe remove the first 20k websites in the list because i think people are spamming them now
