Hi, I have a channel related to fitness with 170K subscribers. However, it was demonetized 9 months ago due to repetitive content. I applied for monetization, but it kept getting rejected, so I deleted all my old videos and uploaded new ones. However, the new videos are not getting many views (only 200+) and my channel is losing around 200+ subscribers each month.

Note: All my videos are created using stock footage and TTS. After the demonetization, I switched to using human voiceovers, but my monetization application was still rejected.

My questions are:

  1. If I upload new videos daily for the next 3 to 6 months, will my channel revive?
  2. Is it worth to try or Should I drop the channel?
  3. Is it possible to get monetization back?

So kindly give your valuable suggestions.

Thank you

Reviving a channel is really hard. Do you have an idea why you’re not receiving many views now? Have you stopped uploading for the last 9 months? I doubt that many of your old viewers will start watching your videos again if they haven’t by now. They might not even be active anymore. 9 months is a long time on YouTube, people move on quickly.

Hard to tell, honestly I think it is better off starting over with a brand new channel. Youtube creators are delusional and often want lots of subscribers but without their notice the subscribers are actually killing their channel.

See Youtube wants to push out the best content and does this by pushing the content to subscribers, especially brand new videos. However there is another variable and that is the common viewers these often also have a large impact on how good a video is pushed.

By deleting all the videos you are actually only relying on subscribers which sucks alot IMHO.

As to the monetization part they changed a lot since I was on YouTube. They are getting more strict every update it seems. So I can't really tell if your channel will ever be accepted again due to the reasons your channel's monetization is turned off.

Again here I think it is the best shot to start over again with a brand new channel.

Note: Just like I said YouTube is getting more strict on monetization with every update or so. Be careful with what you do on your channel.

Have your views declined in that time or is the few hundred views per video just happened recently?

You should not delete those video the trick is upload atleast 5 to 8 new videos that you are doing fitness like showing your muscle i am sure it is approved very easy, i do this regularly when demonetized

Let get used of your channel to earn money in different way. For Ex: pay per click system.

If possible can you elaborate it, or do you have any tutorials.

If you keep following the same format of stock footage and TTS audio then it's really hard. YouTube has demonetized a lot of automated channels recently. Your only bet is to create videos with your own voice. Or maybe recreate old videos with your own videos and delete the ones that are recreated. Then there is hope.

Try focusing on promoting your channel on social media to attract new viewers and then maybe you can get monetize again through subscribers traffic
