I have a client who wants to increase its website DA and DR but I am not figuring out how to do it. Can anyone help me to increase the DA and DR of the websites.

If there is a thread to increase DA and DR of teh website that will be quite helpful.

Backlinks.

You need high quality and high authority sites to give you backlinks to your site. Depending on niche, you'll want to get them to your category pages, main content pages, and your homepage. To categories is preferred for me personally but it's good to have a mix of all of the above. Try guest posting and if you're really in a bind you can look into PBN but that's more of a black hat thing.

Here is the problem is with
I just want to increase my pa da

Google algo don't treat authority and valid traffic differently like 5 years back.
If you got a low authority (pa da) site and high traffic - a red flag
If you got low real traffic high authority - a red flag.
So your client really needs both.

Agreed. Quantity over quality if they want to increase DA/DR. That is what they are paying you to do, and it is done very cheap with BULK unique domain backlinks.

BUT, this can harm the overall SEO of the site. So you may be ethically obligated to inform them of this. Some don't care because they are just wanting increased DA/DR and don't care about anything else at the moment.

I have a site to which I bought very few backlinks (actually none until it got 10K visits from Google per month) and it does great. It gets mentioned on other sites every now and then but its DA is very low.
Never got hit by any update and the organic (and Discover) traffic keeps growing.
I understand why having no traffic and expremely high DA or PA is suspicious, but unless we talk about millions or at least a few hundred of thousands Google visits a month, I can't see how low DA is a red flag.
