To answer apekillape. One thing proxyfire doesnt seem to do (correct me if I'm wrong) that Proxy Machine does do is timed refreshing of lists.

Prior to buying Proxy Machine, I was using access diver alot. The only thing proxy machine is used for on my system right now however is automated/timed checking of lists (though this can be abit buggy due to some of the scraped sites - not PM).

Waiting (not demanding) to see the new version in the hope that some extra bits have been added which makes it more usable for the purposes I use proxies.

Your emails we're not received and no other form of communication was attempted by you by your own admission. You are responsible for your own incentive to receive support. Perhaps you should have posted your trouble earlier? You didn't seem to have a problem posting so quickly now.

I don't quite understand your cavalier attitude. I've sent 2 emails which u claim was not received. PAYPAL was my 3rd email. Three different email addresses
and I still receive no support.
How much effort do u think a paying customer should put into chasing u down.
And don't forget i waited over 5 days for a response. Theres nothing quick about that.
U seem to have a problem with losing emails. Something I would expect from a
SCAM ARTIST not that I'm calling u one, but just the same u left me with a bad experience. No one should have to go through hoops and hurdles to reach u. I don't consider posting in a public forum a communication attempt.

Well I'm not going to jump through any hoops any customers decide to put up for us to provide support just for fun. You initiated a claim in paypal, we handled it as we do all of our illegitimate claims, and now you're mad at yourself for being so hasty. You decided to act in the way you did based on the circumstances and so did we. None of your supposed forms of contact we're received by our staff. How about I disable your registration key too and then you won't have any software to complain about? The fact that I have kept your key valid since the claim can attest to my good nature and willingness to cooperate with our customers demand for support.

Opening a dispute can actually be a good incentive for communication channels, hence why its the go-to for some eb@y transactions. If he escalated it immediately to a claim would be something altogether different.

Is it just me or does it seem almost all blackhat software companies threaten to disable the key that you bought and not want to provide support for their product or act like it sucks an inconvenience when they offered it to sell the thing in the first place? Then they act like they are such a nice guy for "letting" you keep your key while they keep your money?

Imagine if you went to bestbuy and bought a tv. It sucked so you posted on amazon, and then the tv company confiscated it and kept the money? Isnt that called theft?

Jesus between this and TrafficBooster pro this is the crappiest customer service I have witnessed. Looks like its only getting worse with more and more blackhat scripts also <sigh>

The software doesnt install so not disabling my registration key does what for me exactly. I paid $75 and received nothing in return.
On top of that i never received such a key.
Once again, I dont use your software, never did ,because it doesnt work on my
computer vista 64bit. So disabling something i cant use doen't do much.

So the installation you claim doesn't work is nothing then? Get your facts straight and read what you type before you post, it could save you a lot of embarrassment. It does work on 32/64 Vista, if you'd have read the thread or sent us an email (nothing was received from you) you'd have learned quite quickly you must disable the UAC and Run As Admin.

See? Once open your eyes and shut your mouth you'll know what you're doing completing simple tasks like installing some software. Gragster, it's easy to skip all 4 pages of the thread and respond to one incompetent customer who against all the help of our staff refuses to cooperate in his own assistance. The rest of our customers are more than delighted with our services and this is an application, not a script. Incompetence reigns supreme.

In the least then maybe there would remain even a trace of evidence that this nincompoop tried to contact us before his tirade of uninformed froth spewed from his keyboard and onto this forum. I've just upgraded my ISP to a new provider and i'm surprised because the proxy machine is now actually behaving itself with collecting AND checking proxies. Prior to the change this was short of a lead weight with my old ISP.

My only problem now however is whatever proxy I select either through double clicking or the rotator, changes the setting in my internet explorer, however when I check my IP, there's no trace of a proxy (isp thing I'm guessing).

So in short, now I can grab lists of "working" proxies, but not use them....

Incidently, I'm not a hater, just not a fan of being dicked around

Alright, turns out the problem with the non-implementation of proxies in Internet Exploere is ISP based. Due to Transparent Proxies.

Apparently one can setup a proxy server on their system to bypass this forced moderation by their isp, though not sure how one would do such and use proxy machine's harvested goodies as well...

Anyone got any clues, please chime in

In my first post here I mentioned vista 64 bit, but its not until now you provide a solution. I also mentioned vista 64 bit in my paypal email and you sure got that by your own admission. ONce again I sent you 2 emails and I still have them in my gmail inbox.

Good info Ellie, thanks for posting it. Luckily there's plenty of anonymous proxies in the harvester, so just don't use transparent proxies if you're having trouble. No one is dicking you around, I just got impatient with your requests when my "hour or so" wasn't good enough. It's not because I don't like you or want to piss you off. It's because it's still being developed. Nothing personal about it, just math. I try to get custom updates out to customers quickly, but I don't always have time for the thing I want to get done on the side. I'm sure you can empathize.

Hey will I ever get a response to thread #143? Is your site ever coming back up. 2 days now and it is still down. Just wondering, how much longer will I have to wait to fully enjoy your program, I am an avid firefox user and and not enjoying the program I purchased with the promise of of an update to come the following day. 2 weeks have past now and I am still waiting.
