Should I 301 redirect this? Would it be bad ?

Hi, this is a fairly new blog that just started around a month ago. Got around 17 articles.

According to Search console, 31 impressions and 5 clicks lol.

Now, I want to use the domain as an email opt in page using a page builder.

Should I 301 permanent redirect all article link to homepage http://www.domain.com ?

Then should I start using as landing page?

How to proceed so domain health would NOT be affected?

This will retain the link juice but not fully. Full link juice will be retained only if you rebuild old pages with same URLs.

I agree with you. 301 redirects are permanent redirects.Being a permanent redirect means that the old URL will not be working or hosting anything anymore.

If redirecting is your goal , then you can redirect 17 articles , i dont think its bad idea.

Asking as out of the box my URLs for articles was domain.com/article-title rather than domain.com/blog/article-title... Still thinking if I should add categories to the URL - would any of this make a difference or am I being a big girl as usual?

If I understand your question correctly, when rebuilding the web pages you should keep the same URL structure as it was. Since the backlinks are pointing to that URL
