Is it illegal to spam on Instagram?

Just wondering for a legal point of view. It's illegal to create accounts, send messages and promote certain affiliate offers or services (as long as those services don't break the law)?

Spam is not illegal, it is simply spam, if you abuse the bot through multiple accounts your account will be banned

Spamming is not allowed in insta. But it they won't go for like any legal actions or something. In the worst case scenario, you will lose your id.

It's illegal, it's lame, it's annoying and ruins the experience for everyone. In fact, people that do shit like that are the reason why social media has so many tough rules to stop spam that end up even hitting people who have done nothing wrong. Find a real job. Actually create something and sell it. Produce something. Offer value to someone. People on IG don't wanna be getting DM's from strangers trying to sell BS.
