Yoast won't help in that regard

Yoast is primarily an SEO tool (plugin).

It gives suggestions about important factors like keywords, keyword density, keyword placement, inbound and outbound links, as well as usage of active and passive voice sentences for better readability.

So in this sense we can say that it assists writing content by giving useful suggestions.

... and to answer your question, yes I find it useful for my optimization work. It's a good tool (plugin).
