[Case Study UPDATE] Why You Should Not Used AI Content Writers

Last week I posted this case study by Matthew Woodward and it received mixed reactions.

Today he has updated it, this time including OpenAI's AI content detection tool.

The results are equally interesting especially as only a little over 50% of the articles passed its test.

Perhaps it's what Google would start using as it's own AI detection for search.

Sure, Google would detect and secretly derank AI contents later while it'd be integrated into search engine to provide information for users only.

It'd be a loss for content creators.

I ran a test by pasting text from a post I had created using the OpenAI API.

This is the outcome:
"The classifier considers the text to be very unlikely AI-generated."

Ahahahahaha

Even hand written stuff getting classed as ai written.

Google has already announced ai OK for content as long as it make sense and not spamed rubish.

Google releasing gpt 4 on bing.

So ai content to stay.

I don't see no stopping ai at all.

Also I don't see why anyone should worry about ai content if your a writer just do your best continue Compitition always good.

There are already Tons of AI Written content, the AI content is not new, people had been training models for years,
many big players use AI Content for years..
If you are doing it right they won't detect you

I use article forge but this doesn't matter since anyone smart enough is going to have it rewrote or spun anyways, which is almost always "100% human".

This doesnt make sense.

chatgpt is a gpt3.5 fine tuned model thats been trained on instruct series training data to chat and answers questions.

Jasper is a frontend to gpt 3.5

I dont know why people think “jasper AI” is a real thing

Spun content passes all the tests but usually looks like ****.

I'd much rather have AI write my content than someone who either lacks English fundamentals or spun content by people who are lazy and / or lack English fundamentals.

The only people who will enjoy Ai are writers that knows their niche very well.

If you understand your niche, AI is more like a calculator for you to get quick key ideas or your starter to write your article.

For example, I'm deeply immersed in cryptocurrency niche, now if I'm using it to spark key points on my writing whenever I see I bad output I can spot it but for someone who knows little to nothing will copy and publish.

You see the difference?

Exactly! This has been my position on this subject for quite a while. AI writers like ChatGPT is good but can sometimes throw in inaccurate information, you have to be well grounded in the subject to spot.
