How widely used is browser fingerprinting?

Hey guys, I'm new to BHW and relatively familiar with creating software automation bots (although never for scraping or social media). I wanted to ask if anyone had any insight on which sites nowadays use browser fingerprinting to detect and connect bot accounts. I know the big socials like Facebook, IG, Google use it, but what about sites like Quora, Tumblr, or adult tube sites?

They all use it because it's now automated. If you place your site behind something like cloudflare or cloudfront or whatever, they all offer you precise browser ID which in the background uses some form of fingerprinting.

You can download chromium and firefox source code and build your own browser.

There are some "sort of" undetectable browsers but it will depend on your use case. Check dolphin anti detect and similar solutions. Maybe this can help you in your endeavours.

Quora and Reddit should also use browser fingerprint tracking. Basically, large platforms now use this technology. So using anti-detection browsers will indeed become a trend now. Things like morelogin and dolphin are very good.
