ODYS.Global + Niche Website Builders Case Study

Typically I would go after easy to rank keywords with low search volume. I was curious about how they do their keyword research "Tomb Raider" to find keywords. So far not taken off but lets see.

If they're using a similar method for the DFY sites they sell, it definitely doesn't work. The concept it's flawed. You can see "weak" sites beating stronger sites all the time. Sometimes for competitive terms.

Of course any site can be beaten with enough time and money. But if that's the approach, then there's no need for keyword research. You can pretty much choose any keyword you like.

Imo, your method to of after easy to rank keywords is superior to their method. You'll see traffic and results much faster.

All these gimmicky companies that mass build sites will never deliver quality, it's not that they can't, they just won't because people are always in line to buy whatever it is they are selling. @jbarrett I think you should do your own keyword research for that site and build it forward with your own strategy like @warriorsam53 said. Listen to the guy.

$7000 includes domain, keyword research, site build, hosting and 100,000 words of content.
I think this is a lesson learned for you that cutting corners and outsourcing everything to a bunch of scummy and shilled companies is not the best approach.

You might want to do your due diligence next time before considering working with such people.

Also, regarding the so-called expired domain broker you bought your domain from. Some time ago, when I checked some of their domains, I stumbled upon one selling for a ridiculous price while having porn links. Yes, apparently, they list such domains. I can only imagine their vetting process and how much they care about their domains' history. I wouldn't trust them for even $100, let alone thousands.

The other one, what can I say? Most of the links they sell are either PBNs, link farms, or sites hit by updates.

Their content service might not be that bad but remember at what price you're getting it. I just checked, and their rate is ~7c-7.5c a word. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired a bunch of 1-2 cents a word non-native writers from Africa or the Philippines while charging like they've got premium natives over there.

I think we both know that you can find cheaper and probably better writers at a much lower rate on freelance sites.

So I had a call with Niche Website Builders yesterday and they advised the following

  1. The site is performing as expected. They say they typically see sites take 6-9 months for the traffic to start coming. They can see in hrefs that the keywords this site is ranking for is increasing as expected.
  2. The site has an indexing issue, only 26 of the 52 posts have been indexed, they said this is normal, advised to force index in web master console and also post from social to these pages. I am force indexing and I hope this will help
  3. Was advised if no improvement at the end of April to schedule another catchup call with them.
  4. Also advised if the site does not take off they will replace this site with another one.
They did email me last November advising that the site had indexing issues, I missed this email and didnt see until a few days ago.

Was impressed that they said they will replace the domain / site if it doesn't take off.

Am very impressed with the after purchase support they have given me.

Hey bro, did you interlink the posts? are you using a rank tracker on the site yourself?

Good journey and looking forward for your update. Good Luck

Actual value of a $2500 domain on Odys is around $350.....and when I see words like "Tomd Raider" and "Niche Builders" I know you got duped....
