UPDATE:

Ok so I haven't been here in a few days and my inbox is flooding a little, but I have some good news. The server is online.

Keep in mind this is still a pre-beta stage. I'm still debugging it a little and I've yet to write any kind of decent reference file (help file) but I'll explain the usage the best I can here. Just type in the URL's as they appear below but change the variable settings for them.

Note: I've highlighted all of the variables (things you need to set yourselves) in yellow in order to make it a little less confusing...


TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT:
statusmass.com/post.php?adduser=100link&user=your_statusnet_name&pass=your_statusnet_password&email=some_email_address_for_lost_api_keys

• Note: You will receive an api key. You will need this in order to make posts!
• Note: You do NOT need to confirm the email address to sign up (I'm not collecting them, they're only for lost passwords).

IF YOU LOST YOUR API KEY:
statusmass.com/post.php?lostuser=the_email_address_you_signed_up_with

• Note: Look for "[email protected]" in your inbox

Point to your CSV file (your list of sites to post to):
statusmass.com/post.php?api=your_api_key&csv=web_address_of_your_csv_file

• Note: Below, in the code box, is an example of a properly formatted csv file (no commas btw). It's just a list of the URLs, and it can have any extention you want (.csv, .txt, whatever).

Make a post:
statusmass.com/post.php?api=your_api_key&rss=your_rss_2.0_url

• Note: I wrote the program to be compatable with RSS 2.0, I do not know if any other types of feeds will work or not.
• Note: You can point a cron job to do this for each of your RSS 2.0 feeds automatically
  

Change your Account Info:

• Note: You have to identify those at the same time, but if you want to leave some of those values as they were, just use the old values.

Problems you may experience:

• I haven't really implemented any error system, so you may just get a bunch of php or MySQL errors if you use the wrong syntax
• There is a 5 minute waiting period between posts. I AM NOT GOING TO LIFT IT AS OF YET!
  
• I wont be here for the next several hours, so please don't PM me with the issues. It would be better if you explained them in this thread.
• MySQL servers - The server kind of sucks. I'm using a free web host (just to beta test) and the SQL servers like to go in and out for a minute or two sometimes.
  
• I've spent the last day building a administrator's control panel to track what's happening by IP. Please, don't try and abuse/hack this code. Every query that's typed in is logged with the time, date, and your IP address. So yea, I CAN tell if you try & make a billion accounts to get around the delay system, and yea, I CAN ban your IP.

• Notice that there isn't any http or any kind of code after the URLs. StatusMass will automatically add that, and it will duplicate if you try to add it as well (you'll get hxxp://hxxp://420.status.net instead of hxxp://420.status.net.

I wont be here for the next few hours, but I figure'd I'd give you guys a chance to play around with it. I may be taking it down a little while later if it goes horribly wrong, but let's see how it goes.

EDIT: Perhaps someone could write a couple HTML forms for the user control system. It's very basic but I just haven't had the time.

The purpose of this whole idea is that it is not exactly spam. The microblogging software StatusNET uses was created to do exactly this: Update the status of your own personal blogs (unlike twitter, that's for more personal communication). Keeping things simple and clean (no foul language, adult stuff, salesy crap) and the moderators of those sites really shouldn't have a problem. If they do, they've implemented the wrong microblogging software.

Ok, i have put all the urls from my tabs into a html file. get a plugin for firefox called 'snap link plus'... it lets you right click and drag a box over all the links you want to open in tabs. Most of the links will take you right to the registration page i hope, not tested it!

I used another firefox plugin called auto fill forms, you can modify this prog to auto fill passwords too, you will also need to tell it how to fill in the Nickname field in... Do this by going to the plugin options, create a profile then go to 'main' and add a password field. Then modify the username field to have this in the 'Field rule' box.(?:username)|(?:Nickname)

PM sent. I took a look at your RSS feed and it just gives me a blank page. My script needs something to syndicate in order to work properly.

If anyone else is having this problem, I'd recommend getting a feedburner account (though it will severely decrease the value of these links for you) until you get a chance to look at your blogs and correct the problem.

@Everyone asking about WordPress Plugins:

I have not created any wordpress plugin as of yet. I need to get this script finished before I can start something like that.

There will, however, be a wordpress plugin at some point. It will keep track of your ENTIRE lists, but when you make a new post it will send links out to a PERCENTAGE of your list (random entries).
