content is goodWhat about content? Is it good?
This guy was right!Aged Expired/Auction Domains are hit or miss.
Yeah, this was done for about 10 urlsHave you rebuild old URLs to leverage the link equity of the domain? Good luck with your journey, definitely interesti to see what a turnkey site can do in terms of revenue.
I know I could of bought a site that was earning and infact I did buy a site to compare with the one in this case study. This guy was right!
@jbarrett Buddy, Considering the money you have spent on this project, the stats of your website after 6 months are really alarming! Seeing the current trend it looks that it will be extremely tough for you to reach your desired target of $200 to $500 per month.
Many people in the posts above had advised that you could have bought an already earning site. It would have been much better. But let it be, because that is a history and it is not worth talking about it now.
Honestly I am not impressed with your next strategy of writing more articles for this site. You have already pumped a lot of money and now you are planning to invest more, and all this is being done with a goal to earn $200 to $500 per month with no significant improvement in traffic. This is not making sense to me.
I think you need to think twice about this project.
Appreciate your spirit.Yeah, this was done for about 10 urls

I wanted to test if I could get a site built completely hands off.
I plan to add 20 articles at a cost of 400 usd to help this site take off.
Thanks, will keep you updated, I will not give up on this site as I spent a lot of money on it.Appreciate your spirit.
Pls keep us updated with the traffic stats so that we can see what happens with this site. This is going to be one of the interesting journey for me to watch in BHW provided you do not give it up midway.

Thanks for the offer, I prefer not to have ai articles on my site, the plan is to eventually turn this in to an authority site with 1000+ articlesIf you wish I can send you over 20 articles for free inside CSV file and wpallimport so you can import it in your website with 3 clicks literally.
It will include:
1. Intro
2. Infromational Content
3. Conclusion
4. 6 Q/A's from Google (PAA)
5. Summary/Excerpt
6. Clickbaity Title
Words: 1000 minimum
I'll use my AI Content Generator V3, it will cost me $1.2, and it will take 20 minutes.
If you are up for PM me with headlines.
its got a low ctr because the pages are not ranking, its in a sandbox / being held back for some reason0.6 CTR seems pretty bad to me, maybe try to rewrite your titles
But yeah, this is why I don't buy auction domains anymore, never had success except once.
I did plan to not touch this site at all, but because it is not performing very well I decided to add 20 more articles targeting low comp keywordsGood luck buddy.
My opinion is not to spend much in the beginning. Just let the articles get indexed and plan for overall site structure.
Probably post on social media for traffic and awareness purposes.
And, don’t spend way more than budget!
True, But I wanted to try to buy from them as I thought I would get a good expired domain. I have a catchup with them on monday about this site so will have an update then.ODYS is way over priced. They probably sold you a $700 domain for $3000. I always build on aged domains with good results, if you want I can take a look at your site to see why it's not ranking.
What about the history? If it is clean, maybe OP is basically starting from scratch, and things should move as they'd do with a fresh domain?Just checked OP's domain and website. The site is built well and the content is okay, the problem is the domain itself. It's only a 90 RD domain, it's not going to do shit imo, the reason why people complain about aged/expired domains not working is because they don't know how to pick good ones. This is not a strong domain. I feel like for $7000 paid, OP got a really shitty deal. ODYS is grossly overpriced, they robbed him imo.
Maybe you could describe the metrics you look at and how you proceed to build on aged domains so that everyone could benefit from your experience. It would be very helpful.ODYS is way over priced. Thanks for checking. I went with the domain because it was a very good domain name for the niche I wanted to go in to. Its also aged and was used as a blog before. $7000 includes domain, keyword research, site build, hosting and 100,000 words of content. To me history looks good, i bought more for the domain age and it was used previously as a blog. What about the history? If it is clean, maybe OP is basically starting from scratch, and things should move as they'd do with a fresh domain?
I know it isn't the best possible scenario, but at least it would explain the long sandbox, and it is better than a case when the domain was penalized previously, or had another issues.
Typically I would go after easy to rank keywords with low search volume. I was curious about how they do their keyword research "Tomb Raider" to find keywords. So far not taken off but lets see.I’m sorry that you’ve not seen the results you expected. It happens all the time.
That said, I’ve seen the sites that Niche Website Builders sell. IMO, their keyword research is pathetic.
You can check their sites that have been on sale for months and see that they don’t rank for shit.
If you target better keywords and don’t rely on their keywords, you’ll be able to generate traffic.
All the best.
