Honestly I am not impressed with your next strategy of writing more articles for this site. You have already pumped a lot of money and now you are planning to invest more, and all this is being done with a goal to earn $200 to $500 per month with no significant improvement in traffic. This is not making sense to me.

I actually contacted niche website builders and I am having a meeting with them to discuss the progress of the site and what the next steps are. This is scheduled in for monday so I will update what was discussed.

But yeah, this is why I don't buy auction domains anymore, never had success except once.

My opinion is not to spend much in the beginning. Just let the articles get indexed and plan for overall site structure.

Probably post on social media for traffic and awareness purposes.

And, don’t spend way more than budget!

ODYS is way over priced. They probably sold you a $700 domain for $3000. I always build on aged domains with good results, if you want I can take a look at your site to see why it's not ranking.

its got a low ctr because the pages are not ranking, its in a sandbox / being held back for some reason

True, But I wanted to try to buy from them as I thought I would get a good expired domain. I have a catchup with them on monday about this site so will have an update then.

Just checked OP's domain and website. The site is built well and the content is okay, the problem is the domain itself. It's only a 90 RD domain, it's not going to do shit imo, the reason why people complain about aged/expired domains not working is because they don't know how to pick good ones. This is not a strong domain. I feel like for $7000 paid, OP got a really shitty deal. ODYS is grossly overpriced, they robbed him imo.

It's only a 90 RD domain, it's not going to do shit imo, the reason why people complain about aged/expired domains not working is because they don't know how to pick good ones. This is not a strong domain. I feel like for $7000 paid, OP got a really shitty deal. ODYS is grossly overpriced, they robbed him imo.

What about the history? If it is clean, maybe OP is basically starting from scratch, and things should move as they'd do with a fresh domain?

Thanks for checking. I went with the domain because it was a very good domain name for the niche I wanted to go in to. Its also aged and was used as a blog before. $7000 includes domain, keyword research, site build, hosting and 100,000 words of content. This is why I started this project to get a site earning with hands off.

To me history looks good, i bought more for the domain age and it was used previously as a blog.

I bought this site for a long term project, I hope to have 1000's of articles on this site one day and be an authority in the niche and earn for many years to come. I do not plan to sell this site just let it earn for many years

That said, I’ve seen the sites that Niche Website Builders sell. IMO, their keyword research is pathetic.

You can check their sites that have been on sale for months and see that they don’t rank for shit.

If you target better keywords and don’t rely on their keywords, you’ll be able to generate traffic.

Typically I would go after easy to rank keywords with low search volume. I was curious about how they do their keyword research "Tomb Raider" to find keywords. So far not taken off but lets see.
