When you see your own products, you are in charge of the sales page.
More importantly, you are in charge of the final product.
If you are in charge of these two things, you have all the ingredients you need for online money-making success.
Seriously!
One of the biggest reasons why a lot of affiliates fail regardless of how many dollars and how much time they invest in their affiliate marketing efforts is because they have a lousy product.
There I said it!
A lot of people tiptoe around that conclusion, but I'm gonna throw it out there.
That's the reality.
When you go to ClickBank, I can say with full confidence that at least 80% of the products there are total piles of shit!
Either the sales page does a lousy job or the product itself is a heaping, smoking pile of turd.
That's the reason why there's a lot of people asking for refunds.
There's a reason why certain brands get a nasty reputation.
And if your blog's brand is somehow someway connected with such affiliate products, you get tainted.
That's the reality a lot of affiliate marketers are blind to, and that's why they continue to struggle.
The solution?
Come up with your own product.
You know your organic community better than anybody else.
Come up with a product that actually satisfies their needs.
Shepherd them through the sales process.
Learn from them.
Keep tweaking your sales materials.
And most importantly, keep tweaking your final digital product.
If you do this, you will have a product that will continue to sell long into the future and years after you wrote that product.
That's how the game is played.
The best way to generate those sales is not through specific blog posts.
Your blog posts are there for one thing and one thing alone: to get people to sign up for your free mailing list.
Once people are on your newsletter list, that's when you sell to them.
Know the sequence and make money.
Continue to be ignorant of this sequence, and join the long list of people who say that blogging leads nowhere.
It's your choice.
