New domain, new project. I have never done SEO myself, so I'm not particularly sure how to do it.

Anyone got an idea how I can get a new news site from zero to 10-15+ DA quickly? Just want to see how the process works, this is why I'm setting such a goal.

Cheers!

I don't think it will happen so quickly. It should take at least 2 to 3 months I believe. Of course you have to start building some quick links to make it happen.

Why?
You do not need DA. You need rankings.
Was just trying to understand how I can help a website's domain authority pump, preferably without any illegitimate method. I just got some press on really prominent sites but I suppose it's gonna take time for everything to index, I have no clue if there's something that I can do that can speed that process up. Still learning all things SEO.

I see, appreciate that. This is the Ahrefs web authority check of my new blog, still considerably low on the rating considering the websites that I have linked at the moment incl. backlinks. Hopefully, it didn't get flagged as spam or something, we'll see how this goes, haha.

Appreciate the input!

just search fiverr. they can do it with $20-$50
I'd probably consider it if it wasn't for them using methods that could actually hit me like a boomerang down the road. I'm not particularly knowledgable about what kind of methods they utilize so I'll steer clear from freelancers, especially low-end freelancers for now. Looking to build something that I cannot risk getting flagged, it's becoming more than a small side hustle.

I did something like this about 1 year before and site survived :D (Non-English)

Spammed with GP (took about 1 month)

New site and 140 referring domains? Only 0.7 DR? Is it GSA spam blast?

There is no quick way without manipulation. Google wont flag you for it but it won't do you any good. If it's a new domain the last thing you should be worrying about is DA.

I also think the same. Some cheap backlink blast. Please don't do it, @Influence. If it's a site you care about, focus on natural growth.

Sniped it after expiration, it was a Greek blog before; OG name under the regional .gr, I'm Greek. If I share the name with you privately could you check to tell me if it's been fucked before? It used to be a 15 year old domain.

Thank you for the input guys. I'll not do anything crazy, I'll focus on natural growth (which to this moment I have no damn clue how to go about, but the forum must def be filled with resources)

BHW is filled with helpful guides. First, know what you want to do. Select a topic. Do KW research. Post quality content. Good luck.

Links are mostly from blogspot subdomains - it is not a GSA spam blast.
These links are not as bad as GSA spam, but I would say it is low quality.

In my opinion domain is not f*cked - it starting to rank.
So if the niche and backlinks anchor text matches yours - I would try to use this domain.

Thanks so much for the input and for taking the time to check. I'll give this one a shot, maybe even make a journey on making a set amount of $ a month from it, this could be a fun thread. Thanks again!
