Hello there guys, so I've been searching, finding and then purchasing stuff from my Etsy shop to improve it's visibility. To be honest it skyrocketed my sales. I've been using visa gift cards and about 1\5 of my purchases would be tagged "payment processing" by Etsy and then those orders would be canceled. About a week ago my shop got banned for violating Etsy's policies. I think it was due to using too many gift cards and the orders that were tagged as "payment processing" was a sign of what was gonna happen. Is there anybody that knows a method to get unlimited virtual cards that won't say "payment processing" when I buy something from etsy?

Most likely the problem is not in the cards that you used, but in the accounts from which you made purchases.

I tried doing unverified accounts then I also tried verified accounts but nothing changed. I was creating the accounts using azure virtual machine instances, so different IP addresses and different browsing history etc. for every account. Do you know a better way of creating buyer accounts?

Make sure the card that you use each time to make a purchase at Etsy has sufficient balance available. Because you might be using a card in a different currency and Etsy payment is charged in a different currency, and therefore the card might fall short in balance by the equivalent of a few cents. In such a case when a card is short of balance by a few cents the transaction does not immediately fail but it goes into processing payment mode and then the transaction gets cancelled (or declined) after 48 to 72 hours. This can be one of the reasons for the issue that is mentioned or it could be as another member mentioned, an issue with the Etsy accounts that are created for doing the buying.

Have you tried making another purchase with these accounts after the previous purchase was cancelled?
Most likely, these accounts will be blocked and you need to contact Etsy support to unblock them. Now Etsy blocks almost all new stores and new regular customer accounts.
What to do?
You will need an anti-detected browser
Proxy, preferably USA
Create an Etsy account
Fill in the profile: name, gender, city and country of residence (select the city that matches the city ip )
Confirm the email to which you registered your account
Then make a purchase in any other store (not yours) for any amount. 90% that the purchase will not go through and the account will be blocked.
Next, write to the support service that you are an ordinary customer, you wanted to make a purchase, but it did not go through and now your account is blocked. You will receive an answer within 9 days. In most cases, the account will be unlocked and you can safely make purchases.
If the first ass passed without canceling the transaction, then make the second one, if there is no ban after it, then the third one, if there is no ban again, then make the fourth purchase in your store.
Well, I tried to explain it in such a short way :)

What cards do you suggest I use when making the purchases?

I just opened accounts in different banks of my country and then issued virtual cards there. Everywhere different limits for opening cards and almost everywhere they are free. If this is a problem in your country, then use online banks: Wise, Revolut, Paysera, Genome, Payoneer, N26, Zen, etc.
Of course, you will lose in fees for card top-ups at these banks, but it should pay off after buying back on Etsy and boosting your listings after buybacks.

A couple more points on registering customer accounts:
Mail is better to use Gmail.
And do not use VPN, but use only Proxy + Anti-Detected Browser.

Thanks a bunch for the info man. I actually know of this guy in Turkey that somehow uses crypto to do these fake sales and I saw him do even a 100 per day without ANY problems. None of the shops got closed and none of the purchases were flagged as payment processing. I’m trying to figure out how he does this. Can you think of anyway that this can be done through crypto?

Easy, i can do this. I can provide you with virtual crypto cards or for a price, i will purchase from your store. e.g 5x a day. you will just have to cover me the cost of the product and extra processing fee. I can do a sample
What’s your price per purchase? Or for how much can you provide these cards?

You could try crowd fulfilling small tasks website like taskrabbit .

Generate a lot of VCs, give a walk through instructions on the process to the microworkers.

Revolut allows you to create unlimited single use VCs . You can always approve payments from your end while you let them get the job done.

This is my eventual goal if I can find a way that consistently works. I can’t create a process right now because not every fake purchase goes through without flagging etsy’s security systems. I’ll give revolut a try.

does it really helps rankings? I mean making more sales to your store? Did you do reviews with these fake accounts when you buy yourself ?

I don't know how you can shop on Etsy using cryptocurrencies. As far as I know, Etsy does not accept any types of cryptocurrencies for payment. Most likely, he has a lot of cards from different banks from which he makes purchases or uses the services of some kind of service that deals with redemptions and leaving reviews.

Reviews do not greatly affect the ranking of products on Etsy. Constant redemptions for the desired keyword have a great effect and increase the product in the search results. The number of buyouts depends on the competition in the niche.
If we take the jewelry niche as an example, then I’m even afraid to imagine how many ransoms it takes to get at least page 10 in the search results.

Hello, I am also from Turkey. Did you find any way? Did you discover the method of the Turkish guy?

maybe I can help you with that.
