Someone Hacked my website, Help

hello,

First of all happy new year.

Someone hacked my website and added a lot of Fake content and sitemap pages. I have my website data, so I recovered my website , but my website is getting a lot of 404 not found error in webmaster tool.

Example. https://example.com/sdfsdfdf.html

https://example.com/sdfggfggfgdf.html

and https://example.com/sitemap.xml1

https://example.com/sitemap.xml12

Can you please tell me how to solve this error, He ruined my website.

You can remove these bad links through the removal tool of Google search console. To work on the website I suggest you hire a professional developer according to your website CMS. So the developer will fix the issues in the website efficiently.

-Install Wordfence or any other malware plugin if is WordPress website.
- Check what files are infected and get rid of malicious codes(malware)
- Download the new WP core(the latest version) and leave just wp-config.php and wp-content files in your hosting, the rest can be deleted.
- Upload new WP files but do not swap those 2 files mentioned above with the new ones.


You should be good.

After rebuild a site .Again fetch in google webmaster tool your site .. remove spammy url via remove URL .. if spammy url more than 100 means use bulk remove url automation..

They are more than 10000 links. It will talk alot of time, is there any solution I block these links via robots.txt

years ago my site got hacked and I paid wordfence to clean it up. I think its was around 60 bucks back then... what a gross feeling. Goodluck getting the rats out of your system. I tried for a while before I paid them to do it... bastards had a backdoor I couldn't find ... would clean it all up and they would just replicate everything back.
