Let's say I have created a blog having unique, handwritten, top quality content consisting of hundreds of articles. Do I still need SEO for traffic or will Google eventually reward it and send organic traffic?

The niche is yoga and meditation.

SEO is to make sure your site gets are much organic traffic as possible from Google.

Do you "need" it? - As with everything with SEO, it depends!

On what? - Whether or not you want to maximize the earnings potential of your site.

More traffic = more revenue

Is it mandatory? - No

The niche is yoga and meditation.
Irrelevant information given the question.

So I read your reply like this:

with seo = (probably) more traffic

without seo = (probably) less traffic

Is that right?

regardless your niche, you need people to find your blog organicly unless you point them from somewhere else
but it's better for you, because you can get more organic traffic

OK, so what are the ways to monetize a blog, without SEO AND those monetization ways ALSO not being dependent on SEO ?

When you say that you already have well-written articles, you have already done on-page SEO for Google to show your results.

If you need more organic traffic nad higher rankings, you will need off-page SEO that gets better when you have diversified links from good websites.

If you are extremely lucky(which most people aren't), you would be rewarded by Google with more traffic despite doing little to no SEO. But most likely, nothing for you because you probably didn't do at least keywords research.

In this day and age when the SERP is more competitive than ever, you can't just write content as you please and publish in hopes that traffic would fall from heaven just like that.

You have to actually do the work; the SEO work.

Since you are making quality content, keeping the h1, h2, and h3 titles properly, image alt text, and not doing the keyword stuffing, that would be also some sort of SEO (on-page SEO).

Very hard to survive without seo. If yoy do not have money to hire others, you can do SEO for yourself.

We can't expect much traffic with only content. SEO is important in this competitive internet world.

Imo, SEO is important to increase your site's visibility thereby increasing the traffic.
In addition to quality content, your site must sustain itself among competitors' sites. Hence, SEO is also essential.

Without SEO how do you bring authority? SEO - Search Engine Optimization. If someone knows the explanation of this word, then the question is insane.

A site by a great wrier who is not an SEO himself lacks some important technical aspects. For example, meta description and title tags will be missing. Keyword research will not be done so the posts will struggle to rank high. Architecture of the site will suffer because of lack of attention.

Your niche of Yoga and Meditation is already quite saturated. You need some basic SEO done on your site to be able to find some ground.

Doing SEO will help your site be technically sound so that Google will like it.

So the answer to your question is - If you do SEO it will help you though it is not mandatory.
