Here's what you can do get out of declining traffic.
Interlinking the posts.
So if you got 100 posts. Create, on an average, 4-5 Inbound internal links to each post.

Actually HCU Update is still ongoing. Google told on Twitter it takes longer than 2 weeks.

So, what you see might as well be from HCU, or both updates simultaneously.
