Has anyone ranked Chat GPT content on Google?

After trying out chat gpt, I was blown away by the 100% unique content it generates, and how well it does.

I always give new potential writers an interview question to demonstrate their writing and research capabilities , and chat gpt answered the same question better than any other writer.

With that said, has anyone ranked chat gpt content as it's really helpful content. And that's the exact type of content Google wants, content that will bring some type of value to the reader. However, recently there is a video from Google discouraging any type of auto generated content.

But we are now at a stage where ai is smart enough to write and research unique content, and do so adequately.

Be carefull tho their are new ai content detectors and they detect almost 90% of ai generated content no matter how good they are. and if such tools are already starting to exist google will find a way to detect it too or are already detecting it. AI content should not be used on money site or should be used with caution if you have to.

Of course OpenAI will sell detecting tools to Google. Because it's not their goal to destroy the internet. They have different goals.

All you have to do is rewrite parts of a gpt generated article. Or even use quill bot (better if you just re write tho). Pretty easy to get around and I and really imagine it being much harder anytime soon.

It's going to be a game of car and mouse...

Done properly they probably won't catch it for a short while, it will be a case of always trying to stay a step ahead which imo isn't a good long term strategy.

Just invest in good unique content and let the others worry

This is the way....but lots of seo gurus use the articles as is because "Google said it loves AI generated content and it will never penalize it"....these gurus miss one big point that AI is trained with info found on the web.....if everyone will use ChatGPT to generate articles on the web it will be same info rewritten infinite times...I'm sure G will love that.

I recently tried Chat GPT for a simple article, something like "do xxx birds eat yyy foods". I got an amazing, absolutely positive response with reasons as to why that species should eat the food item.

I tried it again after 5 minutes, and Chat GPT gave me the exact opposite answer.

Lesson learned - perhaps the oldest lesson in the history of computers - garbage in, garbage out.

I went through some forums, read what actual bird owners were saying, read answers from vets, and figured out what the truth was.

Final word - be cautious about what you pick up from Chat GPT. It might be beautiful content, written in a perfectly conversant language and all that. But if the answer is wrong, no amount of quality will get you to rank on Google.
