1. I just did site: (example url) on google search and found my links. This means that they are indexed right?

2. How do i check if my blog anchor backlinks are do-follow?

2. How do i check if my blog anchor backlinks are do-follow?

1. If you see them on G then they are indeed indexed. You can use G Search Console to check your URL and double check any you may not be sure about.

2. Right click on the link in your blog and click on inspect. This will pull up the HTML code and you can look for the rel="nofollow". If you see that then it is set as nofollow otherwise you should be good to go.


Edit: Every link is considered a follow unless specified with the nofollow attribute.

2. I'm trying to index Quora, is there a manual way to make it do-follow? or does it depend on the platform itself and their algorithm.

Usually the platform itself. I know a lot of forums and various other sites auto set links from users to nofollow. I am sure someone with more experience can chime in a bit better on that one though.

To check if your pages are indexed in Google, you can use the site: operator in a Google search. For example, if you want to check if your homepage is indexed, you can search for "site:yourdomain.com" (without quotes) and Google will show you a list of pages from your website that are indexed. You can also use this operator to check if specific pages on your site are indexed by searching for "site:yourdomain.com/yourpage" (without quotes).

1. Yes, that means they are indexed. You can check them in GSC as suggested by other member.
2. Register on ahrefs and link your GSC to it. You can filter d0follow/nofollow, new/old and search links by keywords and many other options too.
