On one side of the coin, there is no problem if you do that ONLY you. However, the problem is that most of the other expired domain hunters are scraping for the same content, thereby creating a likelihood for duplicate content

I searched for journeys here with such content. Only there was one journey who left it in between so it might not work to use such content.

It can be dangerous legally. Patent and copyright is known when someone first publishes something or invention.

Yes, you can use it considering nobody else has already used it or if the content shows plagiarism in plagiarism checkers.
Google will index it and you won't have any problems.
