If you try to use SL for CPA you never can stop cheaters.
They use proxy,socks VPN and cheat you every day (china korea blabla). Use roboform and Vmware. if you have 1 good real lead thats good, but all 99 will be bad(generated etc)
Then you got big ban and lose all your money.
Sl good only if you make cloth and different staff.
So what about the hippie cash place? They look like they make bank off cpa offers. What about all the other places in SL that offer them? How are they getting around linden "farmers"...? This posses a good barrier.
What about adult site cpa offers, can't we monitor sign ups and conversions? Why throw them lindens when we can just throw them one of our in house girls (workers) ect.
I think that would work well.
I haven't checked out allot of the adult themed sims but I'll get around to it. I've been taking development tutorials and making textures in photoshop.
I give it about to more weeks until I build some fantastic object... and another week or so I'll learn to animate it. SL dev isn't hard at all. I thibk it just intimidates people so they just spend money and buy the shit. The statistic I keep hearing getting thrown around is the average user spends over $289L a month on avatars and clothing alone. It won't be long until everyone figured out that making your own clothes and objects really isn't that hard and it will be tough to make any real money out of it.
As far as SL relating to myspace in marketing, yes essentially it's allot like myspace but the huge difference is that SL WANTS people to build businesses inside of it. I think the adult site affaliates could make a virtual killing in here honestly... but as someone said... "you have to think outside the box"
That's a quote I don't think anyone can stress enough. You really have to keep an open mind, stop looking for "the next big thing" and think for yourself. The internet is so vast and it's true, you can literally make money anywhere. If your not creative enough to come up with your own way to make the cash maybe this isn't for you. Stop wasting your time trying to find a hole, if your not willing to make your own. SL is one of the things that just provides so many ways to make money, that's all it really is. It's a money pit to most users... you just have to be the one at the bottom of the pit.
Look at the prices of land and what some people are renting it out for. It's insane, thousands of dollars. You can buy an island for what... $1600 USD? And also have to pay monthly fees on it... It's crazy.
