problem with the tiktok for you page

hi guys,
I have 840 k subscribers from the USA and Canada, my video is between 300k and 500k views, 3 months ago my videos only had 1000 views.
we did a test me and a friend: I have posted a video and he received 800 views, after my friend posted for the same video in his account, he received 20 million views. although he did not modify the video.
I don't understand what is the problem
