How did you value the service/product price? can you give us hints on that? *ALSO i would be interested in talking to you, could you hit me up? thanks!

Most Asian countries don’t celebrate Christmas. But your point is valid in general. I feel like the US is one of the few countries that actually spends money on those type of things. It’s not really common for other countries to decorate to that extent.

I guess you didn't visit Romania for Christmas.

Don't be pessimistic it can be done, it just has to be done with the right audience

Yes, it's the USA

Here is Poland

but I can tell you, that people are buying lights on local market, aliexpress and they are doing themself here.
People are not ordering for such huge cash. So maybe this business is good in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, but in Poland/Czech Republic/Slovakia it's DIY :)
Is that your work?

The US is a gold mine for local businesses. People won't bat an eye at spending money for someone to install lights for them. Why waste time away from family when you can pay someone to do it for you? Nothing wrong with that.

This is one of those methods where you need to land 1-2 big whales to make money

Also US is the most sought after market for anything in the world. US is where most of the money is. This is where everyone spends

OP in the MAIN post of this thread, is talking about helping people to decorate their houses/homes with Christmas decorations.
Most populated countries in the world are China, India, US.
In China, most people do not celebrate Christmas.
In India, even the rich people are stingy when it comes to spending money. In India, the main festival is Diwali and Diwali is a festival of lights and Indians decorate their houses themselves with some lights, during Diwali and the same goes with Christmas (they decorate their houses themselves with some lights).
In the US, people love to do things themselves, especially when it comes to their homes.
Now, when it comes to decorating commercial buildings, it is not just as easy as it seems. Imagine if you & your team needs to externally decorate a 3 or more storey building, will you not need equipments for that ? Such equipments do not come cheap.
Another imortant factor, in US and many other countries, an official appropriate contractor's license issued by the appropriate licensing authority is required in order to perform any external work in any multi-storey building. Only if you are decorating multi-storey buildings, can you perhaps make the hundreds of thousands of US dollars that OP is talking about and the cost of equipments for that, does not come cheap & proper licensing is also needed for that.
Many ideas often seem to be quite good on paper, but the practical aspects of it, does not make it doable by anyone & everyone. Such ideas are dime a dozen.

He never said it was for those countries though.

I agree with you, OP is clueless about where such a method would work.

OP isn't clueless. Not every method posted here has to be for your country. And like the old days of BHW, you come up with a twist that will work for you.

75k? Whats the netw for the "cables" and job to get one house installed for example? An how much do you get for one house in total?

I make 25% on material costs

Then I also charge labor. (Usually its 50/50 on pricing unless its a bigger house)

How did you value the service/product price? can you give us hints on that? *ALSO i would be interested in talking to you, could you hit me up? thanks!

Read above, each house I can measure from Google Earth and calculate the roofing amount. Then order material, then install

I agree with you, OP is clueless about where such a method would work.

Not clueless, its pretty obvious this will only work where its popular for countries to decorate their houses for Christmas with lights. (Also, them having money is a plus and if they are also lazy, its a gold mine).

Good idea. But, as a money maker, it may not work in the US, as in the US, the people are a lot DIY (do it yourself) by nature. In the US, they prefer making or repairing things themselves, especially in their homes.
LOL! USA people are the laziest!

Let me check if it's possible for Hanuka
