How to find an investor

Hi guys, it's interesting how do people find investors if they don't have rich friends.
It would be cool to read your stories about how you found an investor.
I've always worked with my own money (affiliate marketing field) but this is a slow movement and I'd like to scale fast

To find an investor, first, you need a special idea, something really profitable for the investor

Your friends don't have to be rich, but like-minded, this way you could get the money.
Present it to a couple of friends, don't rely on a single person, and be open-minded.
Hell, some people go knock on doors.

You can get crowdfunding from your friend. Or find rich community where people that will have interest on your business exist. I join some money game scheme mlm etc only to expand my network. Even gathering at church. There is also gym, sport club, etc list goes on. But no matter which one you need to invest. Don't hope getting quality social network with no investment.

Yes, this is my case. I can show how everything works currently and what we are able to do (I hired a small team already). We can run crypto ads on Google Search, just need a lot of money for ads budget, which we don't have
That's not a problem to show our MVP, the problem is to find a community where people want to invest into this field and are ready to talk about this with me.
I would PM people on BHW if they want to invest but I think I'll get blocked because of this action, so I won't do it

I've had some great profitable ideas, but I also have no idea how to find investors.
