For the past few days, I have been noticing that some accounts post completely random nonsense all over the marketplace and forum.

Posts that do not fit under the right services and/or are asking completely different things that the service actually is.

One example under my niche edit service:

HOlGgzY

If you open up the profiles then you'll see that they copy-paste the same things to all BSTs. They only have 3-4 sentences that they rotate around services and that's it.

Interestingly I found some marketplaces yesterday where they sold bhw accounts en masse. Obviously not going to link these here but you get the point.

These are all accounts from a farm.

Unfortunately didn't save all the profiles but they are not very hard to detect tbh.

Some of them are asking review copies under domains/websites sections. This doesn't make any sense.

And always end up either ordering & reviewing one particular service, positively of course :D ... and the profiles are always hidden.

Extremely Successful 6-Year-Old BST That Made $42,685 Last Year Up for Sale

As I said, they always end up under one particular BST afterward and there are many other threads like this one.

I gave my perspective on this yesterday

Other senior members like @MisterF also suggested few things to tackle this.
100% agreed with what was written there.

There are 2 different types of farms here.

One batch of the accounts are created specifically to be resold. They charge $130 per account with +100 posts.

The other farm ran by the sellers for the thread pumps. We also know who they are but seems like mods are unable to stop them.

That's bad. I spend close to $2000 to bring my backlinks thread live on bhw just to constantly get buried by these spammers.

Not only that but yesterday one of these accounts actually pumped my thread with a comment "Bump!" and tried to act as my own alt account, reported it and mods were quick to remove them ( thanks to @Mrnewbie ).

I think these fresh accounts shouldn't be able to pump threads at all. At least they should remove the option that the sales thread gets on the front page via such pumps.

Again these are easy to spot, 5 - 10 year old accounts suddenly come alive and start posting.

I have proposed some time ago 10 minimum posts to write on the marketplace, but was ignored ;)
Staff probably focus on BHW 2.0 now and as seller... I am little scared to that if they not introduce escrow (big slow down) or force payment methods that I cannot support ;/

Maybe we don't need any Marketplace 2.0 but only clean up current stuff and make some improvements

That 10-post count won't solve anything.

They'll just make the 10 posts and that's that.

It's frustrating from a buyer's perspective, too. Seeing an interesting headline of a BST on the front page just to see that 30% of the comments are spammy and that it gathered no real interest.

Not everyone actually fully reads. It’s more common than you think. Most of the users in BHW just login whenever they wish and interact randomly. I think only the admins have the power to check if these are trolls. Alternatively, you can just report these by using the report button. I think I have less than 50% report success rates. Can be a but annoying, but I learn too.

Lastly, I agree with the account selling, it could be a thing now. There’s one account shitlisted that could be a proof of this.

Not everyone reads, agreed but there is a specific pattern with very specific users. That's not a coincidence.

If we have 2-3 main accounts that run sales threads and most pages are filled with newbie accounts then that's not a coincidence. This does not happen with other sellers. It's a pattern.

A simple fix would be when only Jr.VIPs or above can pump the sales threads.. There are non Jr.VIPs like power members, senior members etc so that should apply to them as well but those titles should also be earned like Jr.Executive (decided by a mod) no account upgrade for spammy posts.. This would instantly eliminate spam and fake posts.

I can totally relate to this and understand your point.

Many people ask me why I don't offer my PBN services on BHW anymore:

This is one of the main reasons of it, I am not going to invest $20K - $30K building a quality PBN just to be buried by all these spam accounts.

You can actually ask mods to delete a comment though. They would appreciate it.

It’s against the rules to inflate your posts artificially. I will check on these threads and report them for anomalies.

Our BST has received loads of those comments as well.. Those silly replies are great for the bumping but don't look super good if someone goes through the thread trying to find validation of the quality of the service.

You are stating the obvious. That's not working.

I can remove the fake posts under my thread. We can't remove these from someone else's threads that steal our spots.

For comparison:

I just went over my old backlinks sales thread 16 pages. There are +300 posts.

Out of those 16 pages, I get less than 10 newbie account requests that I can somewhat verify that are actual newbies.

The rest of the newbie accounts are posting right after coming or going to Sarkar's thread or another seller who is pumping their BST over and over.

So less than 10 people from 16 pages during the entire year were actual newbie accounts under my thread. These guys are getting 20 posts by newbies under a single page, multiple times per day. This is not normal.
