Do you guys think anyone needs traffic to be displayed by similarweb?
I just want to understand if someone is ready to buy this service, I have some solutions for this. Is it worth developing this?

I meant that I can provide traffic to any site and similarweb will consider such traffic organic. The similarweb report will look like the site has real traffic. I know that some startups need it, for example, but this is a rather narrow niche.

SimilarWeb is so outdated that I seriously doubt you could manipulate their registers, providing any kind of traffic.

I'm not sure 100% where they pick traffic from, probably from kw volumes like Semrush? or they still use inferred traffic from old-fashioned browser bars/extensions?

I think they use several sources, including analytics services and what you have listed.

There's a lid for every pot, but I would say it's very unlikely you will find a profitable user base for this site.

Although I would think on Ahrefs new tool for the same purpose.

similarweb gets most of their data from chrome addons, they pay addon owners for clickstream access. it’s not real-time tracking, more like sample data from users who install those addons. that’s how they estimate traffic, not exact numbers but close enough for trends.
