trial and error is the best way to learn. its not super expensive if you do all yourself and take the time.
yes sure you wont get instant results, but on the long run you will have your own network and you can use it for many years (and projects).
also if you are an absolute beginner, you need to start to learn at some point. you cant always just rely on others to do it for you.
sure its not easy, but thats why some have success in IM and some don't. the ones that put the work into it will succeed.

But it's hard to find good expired domains nowsaday. The price is very high for auctions domain

you can also start with new domains, but it will take some time and you have to promote them all.
i've done this with some PBNs before and it worked fine. you can even do it in small scale create 10-20 sites on new domains, let them age and then use it as PBN.
sure it takes time, but it works too.
