Reading Zionbar’s guide on his techniques to prosper at Amazon was an absolute treat. I think it’s an amazing guide. It was complete, from start to finish, on steps that anyone with enough motivation can follow to become successful. He also included very specific minor details on some stuff that I would imagine some guides omit. These include the rationale behind selling on Amazon specifically, the different methods of market research, and even the apps and websites that can help you in the steps. He even explained what each component was in each of the steps to help the reader better understand what was happening and why he did things that way.
The only thing that I imagine could be improved in the guide was the fact that some of the information were redundant. For example, the content on page 19 were repeated literatim around page 24. Other than that, content-wise, it’s comprehensive and contains very useful information. I guess the only other thing that might be considered a “con” in the guide is the fact that the guide has been read by a lot of other people. Which means, a lot of other people know the tips and tricks presented in the guide. However, I think given a niche enough product or brand of products (as also mentioned in the guide), it’s possible to still follow the steps without clashing with other people who have read it.
In summary
Pros
+ It's actually really good
+ The steps are very detailed and the way the guide is written is engage
+ I feel like anyone can follow it with enough motivation
Cons
- Some information were redundant (but not necessarily content-breaking)
- Many people have read the guide, which means more competitors when trying it out (but I don't think this is that big of a deal if you can find a niche enough product)
