How to create a Local Ad Campaign to Google?

I want to create a local ad campaign for my google business location. I tried to follow the tutorials from Youtube but they're all outdated because Local Ad Campaigns got replaced by Performance Max Campaigns. Can someone help me?

They disabled the local campaigns. Now even in the local section you will see pmax only.

If you have a google business profile you can go on there and hit promote. You can create a smart campaign that leads to your google maps page which I found some success with.

As long as you try to target a certain area and niche, you will get clicks from people within that area.
